Holy Smokes! Café is dedicated to serving you great food in an accepting, non-​secular atmosphere. Our goal is to bring together mind, body and spirit and nourish all three. We are an alternative to the large-​screen sports bar and the impersonal chain store restaurant. Every Sunday we provide meals to all who come, regardless of ability to pay. Come in, eat, talk and share. You can say grace over your meal without feeling conspicuous, you can talk about spirituality without restraint or ridicule. We are Christian based, but you are welcome no matter what faith you follow, or if you follow no faith at all. The journey is our focus; the destination is between you and your God. At the end of your meal, place what you can into the envelope we provide and leave it in the basket on your way out. No one knows how much you put in the envelope, and no one cares. History

Established in 2008.

We started as a ministry of the church, but soon became a private company in 2009. Our mobile smoker was started a year later to help pay for the café. The idea behind the café is to invite people inside the church in a non threatening and non judgemental way. There is NO preaching, only great food and a friendly ear. Our «outside» company is finding its stride catering employee and customer appreciation events, fund-​raisers and graduation parties. We started vending at carnivals and community events and do this on a limited basis. During the summer we sell smoked foods at Shadyside Academy’s farmer’s market on Wednesdays.

Our primary mission is to serve those who cannot feed themselves and encourage people to examine their spiritual needs. Outside of the café it’s all about the food. Great food and good times with family, coworkers or customers. It’s a great way to thank those who put you where you are today.
