History

Established in 2008.

A brillant idea turned into reality: create a shop that offers quality recycled clothing at affordable prices. The original founders of Re-​threads built a great clothing exchange, giving folks a place to find unique pieces here in Taos. The new owners love the outdoors and all the gear you need to play in it. So they created Re-thread’s for Gearheads which consigns skis, boards, boots, camping and climbing equipment. The result is Re-​threads — Taos’ Coolest Clothing & Gear Reborn.

Sarah and Sam love Taos, it’s people and playing out in the great wilderness areas near by. We take pride in being a local family run business. «Retired» from our professional jobs, we really like what we do, working to provide unique affordable clothing & gear to our community and it’s visitors. And, who wouldn’t want to be surrounded by pretty clothes, nice people and good music all day?
