They were really friendly and the salon looked well kept… but that’s where the good stops. I scheduled a wax, Brazilian, armpits and lower leg. The appointment took more than an hour and I was left with more than a little bit of hair on every area waxed. Admittedly, I find the Brazilian painful and yes, I do squirm and jump. However, I’ve had this kind of wax before and didn’t end up with so much hair left on me, nor did it take me three days to recover from being tender to the touch.
The woman who did the wax was very nice, chatty and made me feel very comfortable. The room they wax is was cozy and cute… Unfortunately, I won’t be going back for any other service here.

Arquette was my nail specialist. She was AWESOME! So congenial, patient, and attentive! I felt really comfortable with her and had a really pleasant and relaxing mani-pedi. Was totally worth the price for a great experience — $ 20 mani /$ 40 pedi. Beats the service at Star Nails next door and Nailspa de Taos across the road.
Illusions is a nice spa/salon next to Albertsons. There’s also a cute little puppy to pet.
Took 1 star off because sometimes the receptionist isn’t so nice. Glad I got Arquette for my service though.
