This store has nasty customer service I called in for a check on my job application and the csr was rude and disrespectful to me and had no patience for me no what so ever and hung up the phone on me I feel very disrespected!!! 11÷13÷15

It really wasn’t that bad. Honestly, if you think this place is bad you’ve clearly never walked into a Steak N Shake in your lifetime. Seriously, go to Steak N Shake and eat something. Anything. It will change your whole perspective. This Wal Mart isn’t super nice; it’s not big, it’s not super well-​stocked, the floors are a bit dirty, and the parking lot is awful, but if you just need to pick something up really quickly it doesn’t seem to be a big deal. It’s in a low-​income area, and you can see that when you see the people there, but I didn’t see people who were scary; I mostly saw families with children when I went. I’m sure that if you talked to people there in an open-​minded way instead of judging them based on class, race, ethnicity, clothing, tattoos, etc., you would find that you have more in common with them than you think.

Welcome to hell, Brittany. This is among the top 2 worst Walmarts I have ever been in. I try to avoid the big box king at all costs, but sometimes you need to buy two dozen big photo albums and aren’t trying to spend $ 400 doing it. Or maybe you KNOW that Walmart is cheaper than almost anyplace else for groceries and are trying to stretch your budget. I won’t judge you for spending money here.
HOWEVER.
If you are going to show up dressed the way some of these People of Walmart were, acting the way they were, screaming, saying the things they were saying, with totally out-​of-​control children playing TAG throughout the store… then YES. I will judge you. Harshly.
The parking lot is a complete cluster. There is trash everywhere, people driving the wrong way in the aisles, on the wrong side of the aisles. Pedestrians are texting while walking through the lot so be careful lest one suddenly step out in front of your moving vehicle. You may be asked for money.
Avoid this Walmart at all costs unless you’re immune to this sort of BS. Me? It kinda ruins my faith in humanity.
The 2^nd star is because an electronics employee took me all the way across the store (literally) to show me where the photo albums where. Inexplicably, they were with the greeting cards. I was impressed that he knew where they were and also that he took the time to show me. The other 2 Walmarts the staff didn’t know where they were… and they were with the crafts. I never would’ve found them without his help.

Very ghetto. Girls — don’t recommend you go here alone, especially at night. The check out lines areal ways ridiculous. I avoid this place at all costs, especially since Target is across the street.

The store did not have what we were looking for in stock but we did have a great experience at customer service. We were returning an item and the woman that helped us was very nice.

Worst Walmart employees I’ve ever encountered. I’ve been there over 20 times and it’s a terrible experience every time.

This has to be THE most horrible Wal-​Mart I’ve have ever seen! Extremely small, minimal selection and I mean minimal! The store is dirty, very crowded, not enough cashiers! Poorly stocked across all departments!
I’ve been in this store three or four times since I moved here and not once was my experience any better.
I will NEVER EVER try to shop here again! For a store in Tampa Florida this store is seriously too small! They need to remodel into a bigger store and hire more people straight across the board and teach them what good customer service is! My Wal-​Mart experience while I lived in Colorado was a hell of a lot better!

Wal-Mart’s are generally bad to decent places to shop, so if you find a decent one you are doing well. If you want to find the absolute worst place to shop in the state of Florida-​go to this Wal-​Mart. I was worried I was going to be mugged while in the store-​probably by the staff. Their employees are terrible, they act like they are in prison on some type of chain gang, they do not speak to you or even look at you when you are checking out. By far the worst shopping experience in America.

Since I have to do it, This Wal-​Mart is one of the worst I have come across in my tenure of life. The only compliment I can give about the Wal-​Mart on Fletcher is, some of the customer service staff members are very nice, and it’s located in a very convenient location. It is located right next to the University of South Florida and is open 24/​7, it is also located in the heart of the ghetto. If you want action or see some of the most random bizarre things, take a field trip to Wal-​Mart. The customers are very disrespectful and have very sticky fingers so the police are always there.
With Wal-Mart’s everyday low prices, it is very hard to find anything on the shelves because they are always sold out. I tend to do all my shopping after midnight during the restocking process hoping they have what I need. Wal-​Mart is a company that knows the customers need them more than they need the customers so it shows in this store how much they really care. In their defense, the customers they deal with aren’t the most pleasant or respectable bunch of people, so associates may have a short tolerance for ignorance. I don’t trust any of Wal-​mart fresh meats, fruits, vegetables or dairy products, they aren’t always in the best of conditions or up to the standard for me. I do like their selection of dry foods, drinks and snacks whenever they have them.
If you want to enjoy your shopping experience and find everything you looking for, this location shouldn’t be your first choice.

Ghetto ass hell, but you knew that already. I go for the chicken breast. Parking lot doesn’t feel too safe at night either. Don’t shop here unless you have to.

I would give Zero stars if I could! The staff is so rude! They were out of bread. Some employee was texting and walked right into me and then went «pssh» as if I did something wrong. A homeless guy outside the store yelled at me for putting my cigarette butt in the ash tray because he wanted it! There were no carts inside. Everyone had to turn around and go out to the parking lot if they wanted one. Everyone is on food stamps with 6 kids. Disgusting store. Never ever ever again!

When it comes to walmarts, a Walmart is a Walmart is a Walmart. But this one is different being that it is pretty ghetto. It’s not the walmarts fault, I think it’s just the people that come here make it feel all ghetto.
If your a girl all by yourself, I would come with a friend, just to be safe.
One good side of this walmart is that they do sell ammo, which I’m now trying to contemplate as to whether this is really good or not.
If you need something really fast than go ahead and stop by this one, but if you know your gonna take a while, maybe drive a little further, you might feel a little safer about your car or stuff outside. Just saying.

It is hard to contradict the mass of negative comments. And in fact this is my least favorite Walmart. But I recognize the explanation is LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. This store is in the heart of notorious «Suitcase City” — a warren of low-​cost, low-​maintenance apartments and near near-​hovels. And this store is the only large grocery/​department store in the immediate area. So the customers are not the best-​looking, best-​smelling or best-​behaved and the staff are battle weary. And the store itself is crowded, disorganized and difficult to find and buy what you want. Consequently I venture in only when I really needs something right now and do not want to pay triple price at corner grocery/​convenience stores. Ironically, the squeaky clean, German owned Aldi offers great grocery and some other household wares a block away and usually lower prices.

This is one of the worst Walmart I have been to. I do like the fact that is close by and that it has everything you need. However, the bad service, long lines, and uncleanness of this store overlooks it’s good qualities. I rarely as employees for help, but when I do ask they never help me find what I need. So I have to go all over the store looking for it for myself, when they could have simply helped me out. The lines are super long at anytime of the date, especially after 10pm because they only have about 3 registers open. It is not safe to go alone if you’re a female especially at night. If you want a good shopping experience, I would suggest to go to the Walmart on Bruce B Downs.

One word sums it up: Awful!
Now to evaluate a bit further… I never expect to receive even average customer service from any Walmart, but this one takes the cake for being the all time worst. If you can’t find what you’re looking for you’re out of luck. All you will receive if you ask an employee for help (if you can even find one to ask that is) is a blank stare or an attitude.
The store itself is unorganized and the very few times I’ve come here it was a nightmare trying to navigate the aisles. Carts and random crap clogging up the pathway everywhere. The lines are loooong at the register. Prepare to wait, and wait and wait…
On another hand, I’ve seen some great candidates for the «people of walmart» website here, probably even some who should get a trophy for their people of walmart-​ness appearances and behaviors. So if people watching at Walmart in a bad part of town is your idea of «fun», then head on over.
If not, I would advise going to another location elsewhere. Even the one down on Dale Mabry is much better. *Yikes*

This is probably one of the «Ghetto» Walmart’s I have ever been to. When I say ghetto, I mean Ghetttttoooo!
They NEVER have any carts available because it’s scattered on the parking lot. The lines are always super long because they only have 2 – 3 registers open, and you should see some of the people shopping here. (No offense!) But have you ever seen the website «people of walmart?» Well, that’s what you see here. Ghetttoooo! Also the employees aren’t friendly or helpful at all. They are too busy daydreaming or «trying» to stock items on the shelf. They don’t care if there is not enough room in the aisle for you to stroll by with your cart. The last time I was there another customer yelled at the employee in the aisle «Aren’t you going to move your Sh! t or just keep it in the way?» The worker acted like she didn’t hear him.
I don’t like coming here but if I really really really have to go to this location because I don’t want to go all the way down to BBD then I might. Other than that stay away! Lol.

This review is for the pharmacy in particular.
DISASTER!!! AVOID THIS MESS!!! They don’t give a you-​know-​what about their customers. Bad service, bad product, bad everything. I usually wouldn’t say this for any other place, but seriously, don’t give them your business.
To make a long story short, the physician at USF prescribed my meds here instead of my usual Publix. They only gave me two of three prescriptions with no explanation. I walk away then realize huh… where’s my third one? I go back to ask and they half-​heartedly say they will call me later about the third one when they get it in. Two days later, still no call… meanwhile I’m kind of miserable waiting for my stupid prescription to arrive. I call the pharmacy, and guess what? They don’t, and won’t, carry what I need. It was never even an option, there is no substitute, and they were never even planning to tell me! They didn’t even offer to transfer it, they just say I’m out of luck and need to go back to talk to the doctor. Um, shouldn’t you have told me that two days ago when I first tried to fill it? It was just going to sit there in unfilled-​prescription purgatory forever since you never called me? Wow!
I guess they really don’t care. I get it. You’re Walmart and you have millions of other consumers who are keeping you in business with your child-​labor Chinese crap that breaks the day you bring it home. I’m just one-​billionth of your profit today so screw me. On the other hand, I might be that fraction to Publix as well, but at least they pretend that I matter!
Okay, that’s all. I’m done with this place. I could deal with the ghettoness but I can’t deal with the flat out disregard for customers’ well-​being. Especially when I’ve given them way too much business in the past since this was one of my normal shopping spots. Bye!

If you looking for clearance stuff, this is the place. More things go on clearance at this store than any other store, based on my experience.
Now now! Walmart is ghetto no matter where you go because there is no such thing as a nice Walmart. This just happens to be more ghetto because it is located in the ghetto. Yes, it is unsafe. Yes, people have been robbed there. I believed a woman was kidnapped there too. But that can honestly happen anywhere. Be smart about it. I am a woman and I am not uncomfortable shopping here.
Service is almost non-​existent here. Look around at the low income housing with the junk and crap piled up in the front. You expect the store to be clean? You maybe surrounded by a VA hospital and a large university, but it still doesn’t change that this store is in the ghetto.

Hood.
Be careful out here. Bring your strap. Never know when you’re gonna have to POP something lol.
Avoid this spot. Small for a walmart and a lot of stuff missing from the shelves. Too many «gangsters» roaming around this place.
It’s florida. I’m sure there are a million other walmarts you can go to. Skip this one and head to one of those.
