My friend and I work in an office building near where this truck was one day so we decided to check it out! Originally we were going to share the avocado fries with beer cheese but once we got to the truck they were sold out. My friend and I decided to order the Bella which had provolone, feta cheese, spinach and mushrooms on it. Huge, salty, cheesy goodness! It was also huge I am so glad that we decided to plit it! It also came with sweet potato fries that were very good. I definitely wouldn’t eat at the Cheesery Truck if you are on a diet but really who can turn down a grilled cheese?!

I. Wil. Never. Visit this food truck again. Ever. I was very excited to see that they were scheduled to spend an afternoon at my office(because our building café has closed and we have no other on-site food choce) and i looked forward to come tasty grilled cheese all week — so did all mo co-workers. Unfortunately, I dont know how many of us actually got to try it. They were an hour late arriving and, upon arrival, everyone lined up. We were all very excited. However, the order window never opened. They’d said it’s be just 15 more minutes, 15 turned into 20, 20 into 45. I have to clock out to leave my workstation and have only a 30 minute lunch. I spend the ENTIRETY of that lunch break standing outside of The Cheesery truck with my co-workers. while its chefs inside peered out at us through the order window, fumbling with receipt paper. Additionaly, after I had waited through my 30 minute lunch break, the announcement came that they were only preparing one sandwich from their menu, and plain sweet potato fries. No Tomato soup, no nothing special. Just plain grilled cheese and plain sweet potato fries. After 45 minutes, the risk of getting written up for coming back from lunch late, the fact that i wouldn’t get to try«The Granny» and the Fries with Bleu Cheese, quit and went hungry. I decided that i didnt care how good their sandwich(singular — one sandwich) was, i was not giving these people my money.

Shady business. They were scheduled at our job site & arrived over an hour late, then took almost another hour to prep, etc. When they finally opened, they only offered 2 items on their menu: grilled cheese & sweet potato fries. They’re affiliate, Burger Culture, was a no-show the week before. Not good for business.

The Cheesery is pretty damn good. I had the classic grilled cheese and I was impressed with the quality of the ingredients and the flavor. My girlfriend had the date night which is goat cheese, dates and some other items I can’t remember, but she loved it. The best part is the crispy bits of cheese that oozed out on the grill. If I see this truck again, I’ll be sure to stop by.

YUM!!! Oh my god, I love grilled cheese!!! Grilled cheese is my comfort dish so when I spotted this food truck outside of Cigar City Brewing I knew I had to order a sandwich! My husband and I went a little overboard and ordered way too much food because everything sounded so darn good on the menu board. I got a classic«Grilled Cheese» sandwich with American, Havarti and Cheddar cheese. My husband went the more fancy route and ordered the«Great White» with Asiago, Parmesan, Ricotta, and Mozzarella cheese and Basil and Tomatoes. No grilled cheese would be complete without a bowl of Tomato Bisque and of course we had to try the«Sweet Blue» sweet potato fries with blue cheese crumbles. Of course that just wasn’t enough cheese to please so we added some fried Avocado Fries with beer cheese — yummy!!! Everything was so blissfully cheesy and delicious. I was in a haze of cheesy goodness and cardiac arrest!!! We didn’t finish the fries, but they reheated quite nicely the next day. Will be following this truck for more cheesy goodness!!!

WOW. I had the pleasure of trying The Cheesery Truck today for a late lunch. I ordered«The Bella», a grilled cheese consisting of provolone, spinach, and portobella mushrooms. The absolute BEST grilled cheese I have EVER put in my mouth. I was also able to help the guys out with some information that helped them have a good day in the truck. I will be looking for this truck at all the Tampa Bay Food Truck Rallies and now want to try the other truck they have, Burger Culture.

Oh my! As a seasoned vet of eating food off of trucks, I’ve seen and tasted most of what Tampa has to offer. There’s a new(ish) game in town though! Burger Culture has created a new, delicious vision called The Cheesery… and it’s amazing. It’s all grilled cheese, all the time. They had everything from a traditional grilled cheese to mac and cheese grilled cheese to grilled cheese with apples and proscuitto. With all of these options, I opted to try the Great White. Aside from my shark obsession, the all white cheese with pesto sounded amazing. It didn’t disappoint. They grill the bread so it was cripsy and the cheese was melted and gave you the satisfying line of cheese hanging from your mouth to the sandwich. Everyone else enjoyed their’s as well. It’s a favorite now for sure. I’ll be back!
