TECO Channel District Station 7

This is the stop for the Channelside Mall, the Aquarium, the Victory Ship Museum, the Port of Tampa, and to see the «Exploding Chicken» sculpture. This is also about halfway between Downtown Tampa and Ybor City. This is a fun and easy way to travel, and a great way to avoid drinking and driving. Very family friendly, there’s a special rate if you have a large brood. The all day fare makes it very worthwhile to come from Downtown, see and do some stuff here, end up in Ybor City for dinner and a movie and too many drinks and get back safe and sound. Plus, since it’s on «Ella Mae Ave.,» you can annoy your wife with imitations from the «Beverly Hillbillies» on the way and a little while after you arrive. Don’t stand in the middle of the tracks, they don’t like that.
