The address listed is incorrect. They are actually at 860056th Street. They are phenomenal! Bring a huge appetite if you eat here! Awesome food and large portions! You’ll love it!

I’ve driven past this restaurant literally 100 times, today we decided to stop for lunch after our excursion at Lowry Park Zoo. From the get-go you can tell the owner and staff take pride in the location. Landscaping neat, parking lot clean, and fresh paint on the building, all signs that the restaurant is producing a profit, which means they’re filling the seats. Our server was very good! She was busy, but never forgot us, always pleasant and always smiling, helpful, and informative. We were seated promptly drink orders taken with a Feta appetizer on its way, it came with Fresh Tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, seasoned to perfection and with the best feta I’ve ever had at a restaurant, it had superb feta taste but was very smooth, almost soft, very delicious, and plenty of it to eat with your meal if you wanted. We ordered our meals, I ordered a chicken gyro with a Greek salad, my wife ordered an eggplant parm sub, and we got the kids meal ham & cheese sandwich for my daughter. My Chicken gyro was exactly what I expected, tender chicken seasoned with dill and oregano, the tzatziki had a good garlic bite, the tomatoes and onions were fresh, overall a very good wrap, the only suggestion I have would be to serve it wrapped instead of open faced, it makes it a little difficult to eat. The salad was very very good. They didn’t skimp on the tomatoes and cucumbers, plenty to enjoy on the salad, the homemade dressing was not masked with sugar, it was a thick Greek dressing with herbs that brought out the taste of the salad, didn’t overpower it, I highly recommend it. The rice served with the gyro was so tasty! It reminded me of the rice I used to eat in the old Greek diners in New York, very moist and full of flavor. I sampled a bit of my wife’s eggplant sub, it was very well made, toasted roll, skinned sautéed eggplant with a very flavorful sauce and plenty of mozzarella cheese, she thoroughly enjoyed the meal, with such hearty portions she had plenty to go home with. My daughter’s meal was the one that spoke volumes to me, many restaurants use the«kid’s meal» as an excuse to put together a sub standard sloppy basket of fries with a sandwich that you never take home because the dog deserves better. This place made a kid’s meal that was really a meal! We ordered the ham & cheese sandwich it came with a Hearty helping of their delicious fries tasty ham, quality cheese on another one of their toasted rolls, all under $ 5? You’re kidding right? Way to go Stefano’s for being one of the very few places to serve a delicious sizable kids meal on a budget. All together an incredibly good place to eat for a Mediterranean meal, we will definitely be back! Pricing was very fair especially considering the portions, we brought a lot home! Go to Stephano’s you will not be disappointed.

When I lived in the Temple Terrace area, I would get takeout from here when I wanted a good, home-cooked meal… but didn’t have the time or want to prepare it myself. The food here is always fresh and delicious and the staff is always very friendly. The interior itself could use some updates, but if you want tasty, home-cooked, no-frills food, this is the place to go!

FAVORITE restaurant in temple terrace/Tampa! The portions are huge(family size). There’s nothing that I have ordered that I haven’t liked.

Best Lemon Mahi Mahi I’ve ever had. The lentil soup was perfect. Lemon potatoes were perfect. The servings are HUGE. Our party of three will be leaving full, and happy. Prices are affordable. I’ll dream of this and will definitely be back.

I was new to Tampa, and one of my coworker recommended this place to me. With that the journey began, and I have been coming here every now and then. I usually go for the chicken Parmesan, its huge and even before I can dig in the salad and the pita bread makes me full. There are other things on the menu, all of them have huge portions. Their Greek salad is one thing I can keep on having everyday, its like a meal by itself. Well enough about the food, now about the place, the servers are nice but the kitchen seems a bit slow, the décor is suitable for a place like this, I just don’t prefer the booths. Overall a nice place to go for two square meals at the price of one.

Excellent food! Chicken salad is excellent. Only downfall is you are charged a 2.00 sharing fee to allow someone to share your plate with you.

It’s been said that a restaurant having a huge menu means that it is sort of a jack of all trades but a master of none. This Greek-Italian diner serves up an incredible amount of options for inexpensively, and the portions are out of control. The first time coming here I got a side order of chicken and I almost laughed when it came out. For a «side» it was probably two chicken breasts. I highly recommend the Greek salad, which is served with their awesome Greek dressing and a heaping portion of their Greek potato salad. As another Unilocaler pointed out, it’s like having the Sponge Docks a lot closer to home! The gyro meat is awesome; very tender and garlicky. The tzatziki sauce is potent with lots of garlic too, so plan accordingly if you have a meeting afterwards. ;) I really enjoy the Greek comfort food here and will definitely be back for more.

There are many places in Tampa bay to get a good Greek salad(like the sponge docks) but the one served here? WOW. Amazingly good. Fresh feta, plenty of olives… a nice bed of potato salad, and some ham in there as well which was a nice touch. The portion for one should maybe warn you not to order it unless you’re really hungry because it is HUGE. Apparently that’s how they do their salads here though — my lunch date ordered a different salad and that was also huge. I didn’t expect to be as impressed as I was with not just the food but the great service too. Can’t believe that I hadn’t tried this place before considering it’s been there for a long time. I’ll definitely be back!

I have never had such amazing food! Not only are the servers so warm and inviting but it’s also reasonably priced! You honestly get more for what you pay for because they give you such big amounts! It’s truly a wonderful place! I can’t wait till my family comes to visit so I can take them there. Hands down best food in Tampa! The gps seems to take you to the wrong place so keep driving a little farther down and you’ll eventually see it on your right!

This is my second bad experience in a row at Stefano’s. Tonight, I waited over 45 minutes for a call-in order they said would take 15 minutes. Then they were out of Greek dressing and told me they’d «been out for a while» — how does a Greek Italian restaurant run out of Greek dressing?

Although the food was great and the portions large we experienced one of the SLOWEST meals I’ve ever experienced. Our group was seated in the side room and promptly forgotten about. Even to get drinks initially took a long while. We had to find someone to take our order because NOONE checked on us. I had to repeatedly flag someone down to refill my water. My chicken salad when it arrived was massive! It was a delicious meld of flavors that was so tasty didn’t even need the dressing. The bits and pieces of the salad kept falling off the side of the plate because it was so large. Prices were reasonable too and everyone in our group was happy with the quality and quantity of food. Maybe our server was just having a really bad day but surely a manager would have been on top of things to rectify the situation. Luckily we were not in a rush. If you are then I wouldn’t recommend eating here.

Stefanos has practically been a Temple Terrace landmark for many years. Food is always good, the servings are large, and the service is fast and friendly. What more could you want in a restaurant? Over the years they moved, and then expanded in the current location, and spruced up on a regular basis. The Greek/Italian menu is comprehensive and everything is delicious. Stefano’s is on our speed dial for carry out and the family size Greek salad is a favorite.

Wow, what a find. We were going for Mexican food, but decided to try Stafanio. The portions are incredible. Each plate had tons of food and the prices are great. The food tastes great and the wait staff was nice and polite. You need to come here, what are you waiting for!!!

Surprisingly good diner /restaurant located in the heart of Temple Terrace, along 56th Street, just north of the Hillsborough River. From the outside, Sefano’s looks like a pizza restaurant that never got updated, but don’t let that stop you from going inside. Stefano’s is a blending of a Greek /Italian restaurant combined with an American-style diner. There’s a wide mix of choices on the menu as well as daily specials on the white board. The portions are massive, and the prices are very reasonable. During the week they’re open from 11am — 9pm, but open by 7am on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for breakfast. This is a seat-yourself kinda place, and you can choose from 4-top tables or 4-person booths around the restaurant. Your server will be there in a jiffy with the menu, to take your drink order, and to tell you about the daily specials. Stefano’s is known for their Greek salads, and Greek specialties such as Mousaka, Dolmades, and Gyro Platters. They also feature homemade Italian favorites including Lasagna, Chicken Parmagiana and Chicken Alfredo. The lunch menu has all of the traditional, authentic Greek specialties, along with soups, salads, sandwiches, wraps, paninis, burgers and sandwiches. At dinnertime you have all of the above plus traditional Italian meals, seafood, steaks, pork, chicken, and vegetarian dishes. Truly something for everyone. I ordered my lunch off of the Specials board and had two massive crab cakes(each was easily three times the size of any other crab cake that I’ve ever seen!). Those came with a house salad, side of pasta and sauce, garlic bread, and a Diet Coke for $ 15. I took home half of my dinner, so it was 2 full meals for $ 15! As I looked around, everyone was receiving HUGE portions of food, and most all of us were leaving with to-go boxes. I thought that the food tasted quite good, and was certainly pleased with the value of my meal. The next time that I’m on this side of town I’ll gladly stop back at Stefano’s for another meal.

First off… love their gyros! The prices are reasonable and the portions are BIG. We’ve never been where everyone didn’t have food to take home. Friendly staff, family atmosphere. It’s become our ‘go to’ restaurant. There is a wide selection on the menu from burger and fries, to baked pasta dishes to traditional Greek. Come hungry.

Stumbled upon this place while out running errands the other day(read: a lengthy Big Lots trip that made me broke and hungry). It’s a diner like atmosphere– some greek food, some italian food– nothing out of the ordinary. The gyros were huge and served with delicious french fries. I’ll come back– but there was nothing that made this place stand out to me.

This definitely looks like it was a Pizza Hut back in the 80s. I would not have guessed it was a Greek place judging by the exterior. It’s nothing fancy, but I had a great lunch here. HUGE and delicious gyros. Only $ 7 and comes with the perfect diner fries. They also have wonderful tzatziki, which is a must for any Greek restaurant.
