Sprint Store

This place is ghetto and the employees are liars! After 6 months I find out this sprint employee Spanish short for a man’s height put in a New York iPhone protection plan only required for NEW YORKERS on my bill after I SPECIFICALLY said no thanks. I should have know to get the hell away from this place when he said «please get the protection plan so I can get commission» never again am I going to lease a I’ll iPhone because he even lied to me stating I can switch phones whenever I wanted. LIE! I have to wait 2 years! I’m cancelling sprint and BUYING a phone upfront so I don’t have to deal with this crap. They are lucky I am not SUING for FREUD! Thank god I was compensated for the amount of money I spent on a worthless protection plan that wouldn’t even have helped me. Screw you! Btw I’m not tech savvy. When it was time to transfer my photos he took my phone to the back then said he had to air drop my photos. I didn’t know what that meant. I swear if my personal photos are to appear public I i will sue the hell out of the company.

Sprint employee is blasting a speaker with rap music. A customer turns the speaker off, twice. Sprint employee tells customer «don’t turn the speaker off, I don’t come to your house and turn your stuff off». The customer tells the sprint employee: «my house in not a retail store». When a customer complained to the manager, he said «you guys can play your own music if you want»
Also, it’s 7:45pm, and I am still waiting to be seen for my 6:30pm appointment.

Sprint is awful and so is this store. The supervisor was rude and doesn’t know how to do their job. Why make an appointment if it will still be an hour wait? DO NOT buy a phone with sprint. They are absolutely terrible and will cause more stress than its worth. Some of the employees are here extremely friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible but when sprint continues to over charge and put in hidden fees. the friendly faces don’t make up for it.

Arrived at the store today for something that would take 5 minutes. NO SERVICE for MORE than ONE HOUR! They had music blazing, which is fine if there weren’t two different stations/​songs playing. I just wanted to activate my new phone and transfer my contacts. I waited for over an hour. I asked three times why someone couldn’t come out from the back to help. There were several employees in the back just talking and going through boxes, one was actually on the phone laughing her head off. There were 3 employees up front helping customers with another 10 customers still waiting. Before I left I asked one of the employees why he couldn’t have the rest of them help, he said they were doing inventory and repairs. Really? I was so upset and shocked… Inventory is more important than the clients waiting for more than an hour for service. Asked for the store managers number. Employee went to the back and got me a business card for the assistant store manager. I ended up leaving without activating my new phone after 1 hour and 15 minutes of no service. I have a sprint corporate account. I am sincerely going to consider another cell phone carrier. Horrible customer service.

I recently switched phone carriers & was pleased to have Robert assist me in this process. He was very informative & went above and beyond to make this an easy experience! I would highly recommend, not only this location, but also Robert & his expertise when it comes to choosing the right carrier to be with! Such a pleasure doing business with this store. The staff are genuinely kind and helpful. Switched here from verizon and what a difference in price, customer service and attitude. Verizon actually lost my license in the store when I initially started with them as if it was nothing. The manager here at sprint, RALPH, is the best. Always helpful and goes out of his way. He runs a great store and it shows by his staff and store cleanliness too!

The behavior of the staff at this location can be summed up with three words, UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISHONEST.
I went to this location on Monday, May 25, 2015 to get some insight as to why my iPhone6 had suddenly become unresponsive. I had no issues with waiting about 20 to 30 minutes to be seen by a representative but what took place during that waiting period was unacceptable, and unprofessional.
While assisting a couple with their tablet purchase a sales representative proceeded with a demonstration of the tablet’s features by playing songs etc. While that is perfectly fine and expected under the circumstances, his conduct quickly became bothersome and outright unprofessional as the sales representative began blasting (and I mean blasting) a myriad of songs I would expect to hear at night club not within the confined space of a electronic retail establishment. The volume level was astonishing to me and I am a girl who loves to go to festivals and other loud events. The bottom line is the sales rep representative’s behavior was unreasonable and when patrons began to look at him in a displeased manner he simply continued to raise the volume, laughed, and ignore the nuisance he was creating. What was worse is that he continued his disrespectful conduct for so long that customers had to yell to communicate with the other sales representatives who were assisting them.
As for the dishonest conduct that I experienced…
I had the distinct pleasure of having L*** as my customer service representative. At the outset, I explained to him that my phone was not receiving any power or electric current at all and that I had not gotten it wet or anything of the sort. He took my phone and examined it. He then pointed out a hairline (no exaggeration) crack on the screen. I explained to him that despite a hairline crack, that the phone was not receiving any electric current thus a hairline crack was not the underlying problem and that the issue was mechanical not aesthetic. He then checked my insurance coverage and saw that I was fully covered and proceeded to say that he checked my phone for electric current response. He indicated that it was responsive but would not display anything on the screen due to the hairline crack so I would need to file a claim, a/​k/​a pay $ 200 for a replacement phone. I again asserted I was shocked the phone was able to respond to his attempt as I tried several times at my house to see if it was receiving power and was unsuccessful. He then handed my the insurance company’s card with their claims number and also said I could «try» the Apple Store to see if they would not see the crack and replace my phone.
That statement alone was troublesome because the only basis Apple would have for replacing my phone would be if it were experiencing a full electronic failure, which is the opposite of what he asserted and his sole reason for not swapping out my phone in the Sprint store.
Realizing I was dealing with someone who was either dishonest or incompetent, I went to the Apple Store and learned that just as I had said, the phone failed to respond to electric current and the hairline crack in and of itself was not the reason, the phone had a mechanical failure. This type of problem is well within the purview of my insurance coverage. While I don’t know if the sales representative was trying to evade rightfully swapping out my phone for some unknown underlying reason or if he genuinely lacked the requisite competence to execute the duties of his repair center job, his service and the store’s service overall was horrific.
Save yourself the time, annoyance, and risk that you are being scammed. Seek assistance with your phone issues from another Sprint store.

Do Not, I repeat, DO NOT go to this store. This place has sales representatives that are outright blatant liars. I was eligible for a FREE phone (Samsung Galaxy S5), if i renewed my 2 year contract. I decided NOT to renew my contract, and instead opted for the leased phone that after my actual contract was up (within a year), I could give them the phone back, or buy it to close out my Sprint account. After arguing with the representative DAVID BLONDER, he convinced me to get a free Samsung tablet to help ease the sting of such crappy service. I asked him repeatedly, would there be a contract for this tablet, to which he assured me no. Again, I restated my concerns of NOT wanting to sign up for another Sprint contract, to which I was assured I was not. Low & behold, I check my Sprint bill, and not only am I signed up for a 2 year tablet data contract, I was slammed with an activation fee for this device, and he issued it an out of county number, thus causing even more charges to incur on my account. When I went to Sprint to question why I was misled and lied to, I was treated ridiculously. Rather than apologizing and trying to fix the lies he had told me, David Blonder instead opted to tell me how much money he was saving me by switching my unlimited plan to 2 gigs. Anyone switching their plan this way would save money, at no cost of the representative helping. He did not apologize to me, he did not admit guilt in any way, he simply told me my 2 weeks to cancel the contract was up, even though i had no idea there even was a contract. I was misled, lied to, and treated with such blatant disrespect that as soon as my contracts are up, I will NEVER go with Sprint again. They seem to have no regard in hiring awful people as representatives. Save your time, money, and effort by just not going here.

I’ve been to this store several times. Despite having an appointment, I often wait quite a while for someone to help me. I think this is part of Sprint’s marketing plan– force you to linger in the store forever so you pick up as many accessories as possible.
I’ve had a few OK experiences here, nothing great, nothing awful. While I was waiting this last time, a lady stormed out yelling that she «refused to be treated like this». The retail associate seemed to not be phased.
Anyway, after waiting about 25 minutes, it was my turn. I was here for a 5s upgrade– knew exactly what I wanted. Should have been quick and painless. But, the retail associate gave me issues that I was on a business account and did not have authority to upgrade, despite my having the passcode (and the same last name as the account holder). I have never had any issues upgrading my phone (I’ve done i 3 or 4 times) at any other store. To be met with such resistance when we have been Sprint customers for over 15 years is quite frustrating.
He told me there was nothing he could do for me, and let me walk out as he lost a $ 300 sale.
I went to the Sprint store on Fowler the next day and got my new phone within 25 minutes.

This is my second time here and I cannot even tell you how awesome they are here!!!

Most of my stops here are to use there handy dandy bill pay machine but in this case it was different.
I had been having a few mild problems with my EVO and at first it was whatever to me until I did not get any videos or photo mail. So to me I am like why have a smart phone if I cant get like the basics?!
So I did what anyone would do go to there nearest cell phone provider and thats what I did. I thought it was going to be this stupid wait but it wasnt. My father and sister waited there with me while they did the mas reset which was such a mistake on my half but hey. So while they did that we left then came back when ready but to my surprise once I get my phone it still does the same ol sugar honey ice tea!!! Not only that but my phone is clear of all my stuff so I was fumming!!!
All that downloading those long nights of getting your phone just how you want it and for what all your hard work to be gone? The travesty but I digress. So you ask why I give it a four star well its because of this…
The young lady was very sweet and the tech in the back that destroyed my phone reordered me a new one so I was pretty satisfied. Fast forward to a couple of days later I have my new phone which knock on wood its working pretty darn good if I say so myself. Thanks Sprint and there geek squad!
