The Running Center is a locally family owned running specialty store. The owner is a Certified Podorthist which can help in solving injury problems and making sure you are fitted in the proper shoes for you feet. We carry over 100 styles of running shoes including widths in many styles. All employees are runners and have extensive knowledge in shoe fitting and shoe selection. We offer a free gait analysis and guarantee our fit. We do a great job of fitting not only runners but also walkers or anyone that wants a comfortable shoe.

History

Established in 1989.

We have been in the running business for 16 years. All employees are engaged in running or triathlons in the Tampa area. We offer the most experienced sales staff in the Tampa Bay area. The owner is a Certified Podorthist which helps in fitting of shoes and correcting minor foot problems.

Meet the Business Owner

Bill D.

Business Owner

Bill has over 40 years experience in the running business. Before opening the Running Center in 1998 he spent 25 years as the owner of a sales company representing many running shoe and apparel companies. He is a Certified Podorthist which is an allied health professional specializing in analyzing running and walking and minor foot problems. Bill has also participated in many events from marathons to triathlons. He still runs 15 to 20 miles each week.
