Ralph’s Appliance Service

The service guy was very nice, that’s the only reason they got two stars. Waited 12 days for my freezer to be repaired. Every time I Called, and I can’t stress this enough, «I called» (because I was promised phone calls back with information, and was left waiting) the first question out of the person on the phone «are you a warranty call?» Gee, if you had an actual customer, don’t you think you might remember them? Horrible ownership! Thank goodness I had other means for my frozen food to be kept. Not a good experience other than a friendly technician. The bill was expensive and I had to pay up front I only got a partial receipt as well. Nothing saying the job was complete.

Our refrigerator broke down and I was able to get a same day service call. The cost of the diagnostic is $ 89.99 and goes towards a repair. I am waiting on the diagnostic so will update this review once it is fixed, but so far they were fast to respond.
Wow, called and came out and fixed in less than 2 hours. That is SERVICE!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Called about my dryer trying to get help troubleshooting. Completely rude. Yes, he helped trouble shoot over the phone and my husband was able to fix our dryer, but he needs to go to customer service classes to learn how to speak to customers.
Update: Almost a year and a half later I log into my Unilocal (because I could honestly care less), and I notice I have a message. From none other than Ralph scolding me for the bad review and telling me I «should be ashamed of myself» for leaving such a horrible review when he helped for free over the phone, and how he «pays for the expensive advertising and got no compensation for helping me.» I looked at the reviews and saw one was added 3 months ago (that would be about ¹²⁄₁₄) on how rude the customer service was. Should I mention the 3 Unilocal doesn’t recommend that were 1 stars, but also go on about the rudeness? I wonder if he sent them the same kind of messages. You can’t please everyone Ralph, and you also can’t go after every person leaving a bad review. I work in an area where customer service is of vital importance and the last thing I would do is privately message them scolding them for leaving a bad review on a website/​app. I chalk it up to that you can’t win them all, try to rectify the situation with an apology and a possible solution, and learn what I did wrong so I don’t make the same mistake again. Two negative actions from the same person definitely won’t end in a positive one from a customer/​client.

We have used Ralph and his Team for both our business and home repairs. The staff are very professional, on time and committed to customer service. We have been very pleased when we call to talk directly with Ralph or a supervisor that pays attention to your needs and provide service the same day or the very next day.
