History

PCH is hooked on VMware. We think VMware’s vSphere is a game changer for deploying, managing and running a complex hosting environment. Having grown up in the early days of the Internet and hosting our websites on individual servers that would incur outages when upgraded, rebooted, or with kernel panics/​crashes, now we cannot imagine trusting our, or any of our clients’, infrastructure to dedicated servers with single points of failure. We are constantly amazed at how many people still accept downtime risk, have no backup or DR plan, and still have to call the data center to reboot a server or wait hours (even days) for a new install. With PCH Private Clouds, you can manage an almost limitless number of virtual machines from vCenter through any browser, and launch new instances in seconds, pause them, clone them, migrate to another host or data center all with a click of the mouse.
