A small shop with a large used collection at awesome prices! I spent a while going through everything because the records are not sorted by genre, but I found some great deals. It was worth the visit.

Awesome local record shop. The place is full of classic stuff, more recent and even hands out free CDs of local artist published under their label. Highly recommend a stop in if you’re in the neighborhood.

Store in Seminole Heights– small store but with very good inventory. They are also very knowledgeable. I don’t get here as often as I would like, I live over in Tarpon Springs, but when I do visit I always seem to find something to make it worthwhile.

I actually stopped here accidentally but decided to check it out anyway. I found 4 great CDs and I only paid $ 9. Cool little store with a laid back atmosphere. The guy working the front was nice and seemed to enjoy his job.

Amazing little store with a great selection of CD’s and vinyl. One of my good friends knows the owner and got me a crazy deal on a box of Solid State CD’s. There is small lounge area inside the store. It is pretty small, but cozy.
There are some free CD’s in the middle of the right wall. Some local artists that are on the owners record label. Definitely worth checking out. There was only about 3 people in the store when I checked it out.

It’s hard not to stop in Microgroove and not pick up some good tunes. A nice selection of new and used alongside local acts, CD’s, cassettes and all your listening needs. Highly suggested

All the fun of cruising for records but none of the pretense or snobbery that can be so off putting at other shops.
Visit this store and see that there is great pride taken in the offerings and care given in how they are displayed. There are titles from all eras, at all price points, and an awesome selection of local artists. The staff is friendly and helpful.
If parking isn’t available out front, try the neighborhood behind the shop.
So glad this spot’s in Tampa! I’ll definitely be back!

A small shop in square footage but do they have records. A great selection, or in my opinion. I am a huge fan of driving over to Banana’s Music over in St. pete and getting dusty fingers but I’ve found many well priced gems at Microgroove. Some of my favorites out of my collection have come from here and it’s always a good deal.

This place is great! I love looking around at the collection — this last time I found an awesome copy of Oingo Boingo — Only a Lad (yay) and also grabbed the free CDs they had out and I’m especially enjoying this Dear & Glorious Physician band — love when I can find new music to love. This place! Yes, you may have to do a little digging through crates of records to find what you’re looking for, but that’s half the fun!
Reasonably priced and a great selection– so many gems that any music lover would appreciate. Microgroove is the definition of «small but mighty».

Small but mighty! As their names suggests, Microgroove packs a big variety of records into a relatively small place yet their selection is very eclectic and it makes it easy to find something for the music lover in everyone (even the bipolar music lover in me). Another perk of a shopping a smaller store is the ability to interact with the owner and, in Microgroove’s case, it is a wonderful opportunity to pick the brain of a guy that has an immense amount of experience and knowledge. My first record shopping experience was here and I am completely hooked… by far, my favorite place to shop for records in Tampa. Microgroove’s size may be small but the expertise and selection is vast. Swing by and check ‘em out — you won’t be sorry.

This place is like a museum. With all the kids downloading tunes these days, how could this place afford to stock new vinyl when they can’t even sell the oldies? It’s air conditioned and the service is nice. Shrug.

I do come here time to time and usually can find most of what I need. If your looking for a specific newer album they most likely won’t have it. But if your looking for old classics you most likely can find it.

Probably the saddest excuse for a record store that I’ve ever seen in my life. With the droves of people discarding their wax and downloading bootleg mp3s off the interwebz, one would think this place would have a better selection of vinyl. What I saw was about 40 milk crates filled with a bunch of sorry records. Mojo, Sound Exchange or the little record shop inside Oldsmar Flea Market offer better options.

MICROGROOVE is a gem in seminole heights!
The guys who opened this place love what they do and the music knowledge is extesive. theyre actually fun guys that are fun to talk to.
They just dont mind if you hang and browse or spend time at listening stations.
I go at least once a week and bring a friend that hasnt been yet and they are always delighted.
you can get almost anything in c.d. or record form!
I just picked up some Al Green and Cannibal Corpse.(this is actually true)

The people that work there are as nice as you can get and it has a very hometown feel.
Its a place that makes seminole heights great! and its right nextr to Cappys pizza so you can get food and go right back to Microgroove!
