Located in a chic, beautifully restored bungalow on Armenia Avenue, LUXE Day Spa SoHo is South Tampa’s new home for luxury spa services. LUXE opened in January 2014 by Brazilian native and licensed aesthetician Cristina Anastasas, who offers unique treatments that can’t be found anywhere else in the Bay area. Nestled amongst the premier boutiques of Hyde Park Village, this full-​service day spa features hands-​on treatments, such as custom-​blended facials, Image and PCA chemical peels, custom brow shaping, mink and synthetic lash extensions, natural ESSIE polishes, body waxing/​sugaring, and hand and foot care (OPI and CND shellac application). LUXE strives for the highest standards in aesthetics. Cristina uses only disposable pedicure bowls with purified water, and her spa is the only one offering custom brow mapping and the irritation-​free body sugaring hair removal. «Opening LUXE Day Spa is a dream come true,» Cristina said. «I’ve spent years in the spa industry learning the very best.

Cristina Anastasas is a licensed aesthetician with over five years of experience. A Brazilian native, Cristina has been in the beauty and skin care industry for over twenty years, originally starting out as a waxing technician at fourteen years old. Cristina’s specialties are eyelash extensions and full body waxing. She believes in providing the highest level of treatment and customer service possible to every individual. Cristina’s lifelong dream of owning her own business was realized when she opened Luxe Day Spa, Tampa.

i have been getting eyelash extensions for the past 6 years and have been to multiple places. alas, my last lash person has disappeared so i was on the search again.
i picked luxe day spa based on the pictures on Unilocal and then the pictures on their website. they looked like were not generic stock photos of eyelashes but rather actual clients themselves. also, i learned from their website that they do russian, high volume lashes! that was a new concept to me but i was very intrigued.
i called and they were able to fit me in same day — yay!
i’m always antsy trying a new person or place, but jennifer, my lash person was very informative and knowledgable about they different types of lashes. she was very gentle with removing the old lashes and placing the new ones. my eyes were not burning or stinging like they have at other places.
the final reveal was breathtakingly stunning. i’m not exaggerating here. on a scale from 1 – 10, the lashes were off the charts. after 6 years of trying other lash places, the best i ever had before jennifer was maybe a 6⁄10.
i’m so excited to find this place and highly recommend the russian lashes by jennifer, she rocks!

I came here recently for my first eyelash extension experience. I was a little scared but Genie did a fantastic job and put me totally at ease. She is truly an expert in her field. She walked me though that she was doing, as well as how to care for and maintain my lashes. The thought of sitting there for two hours to have them done was daunting at first, but it was really relaxing and I couldn’t believe how fast the time went! I just wish I lived in Tampa (I was in town visiting family) because I want to go back!
The extensions are a little expensive, but such a treat! It is soooo nice to not have to put on mascara and take it off each day! It’s been about two weeks since I had them done and still get so many compliments!

I’m loving my eyelash extensions from Cristina! She is fabulous and friendly, along with the staff at Luxe! I’ve already had a fill done, my lashes have lasted well, with no irritation. The lashes look great and I love that Cristina takes her time to make sure everything is perfect before leaving her spa! Definitely the place to go for professional lashes!

Cute purple house turned into a day spa. They have their own parking behind the house which is nice. The staff is all very friendly and you can tell they know what they are doing and use the products they sell. You feel pampered the minute you walk in.
I had my toes done, but they offer waxing and blow outs along with unique services such as eyelash extensions and botox.
Go check them out and bring a few friends for an afternoon girls escape. They can create a package for you and will give you wine as well. Enjoy!

I have been coming to Luxe Day spa for a variety of services, but I consistently get medis and pedis. This past week a new staff member by the name of Keenan did my nails and he did a wonderful job. I am always a little wary when working with someone new, but by the time my mani/​pedi was complete, I was more than satisfied. I also high recommend facials with Gaby. She if very knowledgable about skin care and gives excellent advice that goes above and beyond the facial experience including dieting tips for skin and what facial products to use.
The staff is always professional and friendly. I have always felt comfortable and relaxed at Luxe, which is why I continue to go back. They do not take walk ins which allows them to focus specifically or your needs as client during your appointment. For someone that has visited many different spas, I can tell you that that is not always the case.

Ladies Please educate yourself on eyelash extensions. I went to this spa after seeing the before and after pictures on their website. After getting my lashes completed I thought they did a great job. 6 months later, after getting my lashes done here on a bi-​weekly basis my natural lashes are DAMAGED!!!
The lash tech was gluing multiple extensions per ONE of my natural lashes. This is extremely damaging because the extensions are too heavy for your lashes which results in them falling out prematurely.
I had to take my lashes off. I am going to have to use a serum to get my natural lashes back to a healthy state.

The front desk is very friendly and professional. They get 5 stars. In fact, based on how nice everyone is from the owner to receptionist, I have only been treated with kindness.
The part that forces me to give it 3 stars is the actual service. Sugaring is supposed to be less irritating compared to waxing. In the case of the gal who sugars Brazilians, she does an okay job if you don’t have a full growth and just need maintenence or if you don’t have a lot of coarse hair. If you come in with a lot of hair or coarse hair, you might have a painful experience. You only know that it’s not supposed to hurt so much if you have been sugared elsewhere. My recommendation is to only go here if you need a maintenance Brazilian, not a full grown one.

Most glamorous and fun day spa in South Tampa! I love going into Luxe. Everyone there is so nice and friendly! Cherie does awesome work with eyelash extensions and her facials are to die for! Roxy is the best and most talented nail technician! Gaby offers waxing and sugaring and has lots of tips to prepare you for your first visit with her.
Cristina, the owner, is so sweet and is really running this business with the clients in mind! They are always offering new services and specials to please their guests! You can even relax with a glass of wine before or during your service which is a nice treat!

I visited this spa back in Jan where I had eyelash extensions.
Today, I had the Ultra Peel with Micro and was very pleased with the results I have a little wrinkling around my mouth (nasolabial) and was happy to see that those two lines were diminished. So, I’ll definitely be rescheduling in a week or so for another treatment.
Overall, the spa is very cute and well decorated. Very quiet, too. The staff is friendly and the professionals providing the services are very knowledgeable.
I’m black and to whom this may concern, these guys do know how to care for dark/​ethnic skin. I say this as someone whose skin was severely marked from a facial w/​extractions at another facility.

What can else can I say except that Luxe Spa was amazing!!! I had a facial and eyelash extensions done for Valentines Day. And let me tell you these ladies know how to make you feel special. They are the epitome of exceptional customer service. I was a bit nervous as I had never been to a spa before. But I was made to feel so comfortable. They offer a variety facials, eyelash service, eyebrow service, mani’s and pedi, and wax services. You pretty much can get everything that you want done here related to beauty. Basically a «One stop shop» I will definitely return to this spa. Thanks Luxe Ladies for being the highlight of my day

I love them all here! Stumbled across their webpage in a google search when I first moved to the area. I am in love with the décor and the pleasant personalities. I have not had a bad appointment yet with them. I get the Mink eyelash extensions & I wake up feeling great enough to not even worry about makeup. I had a chemical peel, facial, massage, tanning, and sugar hair removal here. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Love them!!!
