By far the best plastic surgeon out there! He is precise in his work, took time to answer all my questions, and I felt comfortable throughout the entire procedure. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a plastic surgeon. High five to Dr. Halpern and his staff!

He’s amazing I haven’t had surgery yet but I’m scheduled in a few weeks. I chose him because he spent a lot of time answering all of my questions and he was very detailed. His reviews are all wonderful so I’m pretty excited to move forward.

Truly the BEST plastic surgeon I have ever came across. His overall method in how he looks at each patient individually as a work of art. He is very meticulous in the way he performs his procedures and very patient to answer ANY questions; which I very much appreciated. I felt very comfortable in his hands. I also appreciated his honesty and the knowledge he had to share with me about my specific procedure. I had a breast augmentation and it went VERY well. I was extremely pleased with the outcome. Not only is Dr. Joshua Halpern a wonderful surgeon, but he is also very personable and made me feel safe and relaxed; not to mention the excellent customer service I received from ALL the ladies within his office (especially Kelly! She is amazing and funny!!) Majority of his employees, including his anesthesiologist, have been with him for years. Everything is so convenient because of the in-​house procedure and Dr. Halpern has very reasonable prices for each procedure that he offers to his patients. Dr. Halpern holds a true passion in this field, therefore satisfying the customer and giving them their desired look is extremely important to him.
Overall, my experience with Dr. Joshua Halpern was a SUCCESS! I am almost 2 weeks post-​op and couldn’t be happier with my results! Being new to the Tampa area, I am happy to say that I will be continuing my business with ONLY Dr. Halpern… I suggest you do the same and put your trust in this AMAZING plastic surgeon.

EXPERTISE AND PERSONALITY How do you choose a doctor? I do research. I look up his or her education, residency training, certifications, and experience first to assess his or her level of expertise, then I view the results (an easy task for a plastic surgery specialty) and get feedback from his clients to see how it all came together to translate into what you expect to receive in terms of service. Dr. Halpern went to one of the best private medical schools in the country, he trained in New York and California and even in Beverly Hills, if celebrity glamour is your thing.
He is meticulous and overfastidious, but that’s what you want because your health is at stake. He is board certified in plastic surgery. I checked that he is up to date on his certifications on American Board of Plastic Surgery
. overall, If you do what he says, the outcome will be exactly what he says it will be. No faulty promises, no pacifying you and pressuring you to accept what you don’t like.
CUSTOMER SERVICE/​BUSINESS OPS
Things that you were not born with will require maintenance and lifestyle changes, so be sure to ask questions before the procedure and to adhere to after-​care recommendations. In my experience it was so easy to ask even the most sensitive questions to anyone on his staff. The response was timely, complete, and courteous.
His staff is always buttoned up, awake, attentive, courteous, and knows how to handle delicate issues. I asked for a reference to talk to and they provided it to me right away. Mind you, I had consultations at other doctors’ offices and I had to call again and ask twice for a reference. Really, why do I have to keep calling your office to remind your business what to do to sell me your service?
There was a medication that my insurance didn’t want to cover. I would have to pay extra 20 dollars to get it, but his office called and made their case and made sure I kept what’s mine. I didn’t ask them to do that. Again, it’s so arrestingly nice on their behalf. It’s really peanuts in comparison to the cost of the procedure, but you just can’t help but smile and appreciate the effort and attention to every tiny bit they do to please you.
Dr. Halpern dedicates a LOT of his time to his patients: actively listening, documenting, explaining, walking you though all possible scenarios. For my first consultation, I had at least an hour of face-​to-​face time with Dr. Halpern. I doubted and questioned everything and everyone and he handled my demanding attitude with utmost professionalism. Even if you can’t decide what it is that you want exactly, somehow he figures it out and his guess is the correct one. For a control freak like me, it was so refreshing to let go, put my trust into someone, and nevertheless enjoy the result.
Dr. Halpern’s surgical technique and bedside manner was excellent just like others described it many times before me. Yep, expect a VIP treatment from start to finish. Expect to be special, one of a kind, feminine, and true to yourself woman who deserves and will receive a custom tailored solution to her problems. Expect to be happy with your results.
The quality and amount of attention doesn’t drop after you had your procedure. You are always welcome to visit and ask more questions about anything for the rest of your life. They want you to like EVERYTHING about your experience with them, because they plan to stay in business for a long time and because Dr. Halpern is obsessed with the pursuit of excellence (in a good way).
I thought that pricing was very reasonable, too, considering the quality of the service and by comparison t o other doctor’s fees.
FINAL THOUGHTs
I am writing this review 4 months after the procedure. Was it worth it? Absolutely. I was at a point in my life where I wanted to feel different, to be a «new» woman. I thought I had to look different to feel different and I achieved that. I have so much more fun shopping for clothes now and basking in the attention of the opposite sex in an entirely new way. Will I do more procedures there in the future? Yes, I want to keep my beauty for as long as possible. Will I refer my friends and family to Dr. Halpern? Yes, they deserve to feel good about themselves, too. Is plastic surgery «not natural»? Well, your hair-​dye, make-​up and dental fillings aren’t either, but we are all grateful they are available to us, aren’t we?
