Jansen Dance Project (JDP) is a professional training and performance arts facility offering a comprehensive educational program in Dance and Musical Theatre. Collective Soles Arts Group is our not-​for-​profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of young people through involvement in the performing arts through our professional dance company; Collective Soles Dance, the training school; Jansen Dance Project and two youth audition only performance ensembles: Collective Soles Youth Ensemble and Collective Soles Theatre Troup.

History

Established in 2003.

The faculty of JDP is dedicated to providing a nurturing experience in the art of dance and theatre that will assist in the physical, intellectual and spiritual development of students at all levels. Our instructors are among the best in Tampa including current company members of Collective Soles Dance Company and other professional companies and universities around the country.

Our Dance Training Division offers technique classes in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap and Hip Hop, for students ages 3 and older.

Our Musical Theatre Division offers classes for students in grades K-​12 providing training in acting, singing and choreography.

All JDP students have numerous performance opportunities throughout the season to further develop their proficiency in the performing arts.

JDP is also home to the Collective Soles Arts Group (CSAG), Collective Soles Dance Company and Youth Ensembles, plus the Moving To Read literacy through movement program. CSAG is a 501©(3) nonprofit organization.
