History
Established in 2009.
Founder, Julie Robbins, communications career began with a position as a project intern with CNN. This performance quickly led to an appointment as an associate and NE Regional Producer at CBS national in NYC. In 2004, ABC News and Daytime Emmy award-winning Good Morning America recruited Julie to serve as a show producer. There, she led a team of broadcast professionals through a fast-paced, deadline-driven editorial process; gaining recognition for producing highly-rated show segments.
She later joined the elite primetime editorial team of Fox News Channel (FNC). At Fox she created feature, hard news and documentary segments seen by the audiences of FNC, their national affiliates and sister network, Sky News, in Europe.
Drawing on this top-tier communications experience, in 2009, JuIie founded IdeaWorks. Today, IdeaWorks crafts and executes thoughtful marketing and publicity campaigns for subject-matter experts, businesses and established not-for-profits.

Julie Robbins’ communications career began at the deep end, when she secured a position as a project intern in national network television. The project was CNN’s live coverage of the 2000 Presidential Election. Julie’s performance on the election team quickly led to her appointment as an associate and then Northeast Regional Producer at the historic CBS Broadcast Center in New York City. In 2003, ABC News/Disney and the Daytime, Emmy award-winning program, Good Morning America recruited Julie to serve as a show producer. At just 26 years old, she led a team of high-profile broadcast news professionals through a daily fast-paced, deadline-driven editorial process; gaining recognition for producing highly-rated show segments.
