G & G Delivery Services

I had a mattress being delivered from Costco’s from G&G. I was told they would be here between 2:30 and 5pm. I called at 4:45 and the agent said they were running behind and were informed all of the individuals on the delivery schedule had been notified. I told her I had not and I needed to know when it would be delivered. She said she would call the delivery driver until she got ahold of them. I never received a call back from the office. Someone from the office should have called me back. The delivery drivers called about 6:20 and arrived about 7pm. They were very friendly and professional! The office should be contacting the customers if the delivery drivers are running late!

one star isn’t even deserved. ”the missing piece” furniture consignment shop made it seem like the delivery/​pick up service g and g would be to my apt. on x date, i sign x paperwork and then i’m on my freaking way. g and g gave me a 2 pm to 6 pm window of pickup times. window? more like a damn door. we called the day prior of our pick up and asked if we could please please please be placed at the first ½ of the ‘window’ the customer service agent said it’s impossible as pick u =ps are routed by location and vary by time. my partner and i sat around all day waiting waiting waiting for them to come. 4 pm rolls around and we’re like okay, well atleast we know they’ll be here soon, or like most normal companies we’d receive a call if they know they’ll be late. we received a freaking call at 5:55 pm (yes, 5 minutes before the end of our window period) stating the driver is running behind and cannot offer an estimated time of arrival!!! what kind of non sense is this? who calls 5 minutes before an expected end time. we ended up having to get a family memeber to wait around in our vacant apartment for these assholes until 8:30 pm. they were inconsiderate of the fact that i was moving from florida to new york this same freaking day and needed my furniture out to get on the road, they were inconsiderate and blatantly disrespectful to my time and they will be to yours. do. not. use. them. (unless of course you have 16 hours to wait on them and don’t care that they may or may not show up).
