Worst «spa» I’ve ever been to. The woman at the front desk should not work with people, she is so incredibly rude and when you’re getting a massage and facial they should be warm, inviting and zen like. She’s the first and last thing customers see, I won’t be back she’s been so rude 2 times it’s just her awful personality. beyond that my facial was nothing to write home about, massage depends on who you get. Beware, their advertised pricing is a trick to get you in the door. The place is minimal, not dirty but not spa clean either, tables aren’t heated, very basic.

I almost want to keep this place a secret and not leave a good review so it continues to be easy to get appointments. Deep tissue massage was great-​better than any I have ever had, including at Harbor Island. $ 40-​no hassle, no up-​sells. I made an appointment ahead of time, was greeted by receptionist, and waited less than five minutes (after arriving early) to be taken back to massage room. Massage started less than three minutes later. Masseuse (keeping her a secret!) was strong and thorough and did not converse any more than necessary so it was easy to relax. I will definitely be back.
I don’t agree with the other reviews about the facility needing a face lift-​the place is clean, relaxing, lots of parking-​it is fine. For value massages like this, it’s as good as it gets.

I just took advantage of their $ 25 50-​minute massage special and it was great! Zane did an awesome job with my massage! I asked him to focus a bit more on my upper back and shoulders as they were sore from some home improvement work and he did just that while still leaving plenty of time for everything else. I will definitely be requesting him again when I go back!

Got my boyfriend a massage at this location for his birthday. He’s been to many different massage salons and found it difficult to find the right masseuse for deep tissue massages. I booked him a 1.5hr massage with Cooky after reading all the reviews praising her work. He loved his massage and said it was just a few minutes short of the 1.5 hrs which is normally the case for most places. Overall he will continue to go here in the future!

I visited on a Monday when they run a special where you get a 1hr massage and 1hr facial for $ 50. I upgraded to a deep tissue massage for another $ 15. I was told when I made the appointment that the roof was being replaced and that it could be load. I was okay with this as Monday was the only day I could go and they were able to fit me in the schedule the same day I called.
When I arrived (10 minutes) prior to my appointment the place was very busy and really HOT (they did not tell me the air was not working). I asked if I needed to fill out paperwork as it was my first time at this location. The lady was busy and said she did not have any clean forms so she would have to clean the form and then give it to me (they use dry erase boards as forms). The massage therapist called to get me but would not take me until the forms were filled out. The massage ended up starting at 4:10 and ending at 4:50. This was supposed to be a 1hr massage which I understand is technically always 50 minutes. Not 40 minutes!
The same think happened with the facial only worse. My facial began at 5:10, I was there with all paperwork filled out and ended at 5:45!!! Only 35 minutes.
I know this place is cheap but come on!!! I feel like this is stealing.

Always able to get an appointment. Friendly staff and deals on massages and facials Monday Tuesday and Wednesdays. Many guys on staff (more than usual) but have tried most of them and they’re all great. Great hours help for after work or errand appointments.

Wow! That is one of the best massages I’ve ever received! Cookie was amazing!!! This was my first visit too. I have had several restless nights for several weeks now because of my upper back and neck pain. I’ve even been to the chiropractor and nothing helped until Cookie! Thank you sooo much and I will be back to see you again!

My friend and I received a massage and facial here. We both agreed that the facial was amazing! Both our aestheticians were great and informative and really enjoyed it. As for the massages, worst massages we’ve ever received. I feel like I could have paid my boyfriend to give me a massage and it would be a better outcome lol. My friend said the same and her masseuse massaged so rough (more like rubbed her skin?) that he gave her friction bumps on her skin … So in conclusion facials yes! Massages go else where for sure

I would agree with the others regarding this spa. Service and massages are wonderful, but the facility really needs a facelift. Even the outside of the spa needs work. When you get inside it looks ok, but the bathrooms are shotty and honestly it smells odd throughout the spa. It doesn’t take much to light incense in each room. The owners of this facility should go to the one in Brandon and take note. I had Zane for my massage and he did a great job. I really enjoyed it.

Love this place. The affordability can’t be beat. I do agree with some comments that have been made but if you find a great professional, remember their name and request them again in the future.

FACILITY & GENERAL SERVICE: 3 stars. The building itself is sparse and for a spa, it wasn’t particularly inviting. It was an average spa with average service. When I entered there was no receptionist and when she finally got to the front, the two clients who were waiting had to initiate contact with her and tell her what they were there for. However, once engaged, she was friendly and helpful enough. I didn’t have any issues but got the feeling in terms of anything prior to the actual massage, you have to fend for yourself – call to confirm your appointment the day before, make sure the receptionist knows you are there, etc. etc.
MASSAGE: 4.5 stars. The massage itself was great! Once you are in the room, you can forget about whatever else is outside! I did my research and booked Adela who I read in other reviews was strong and I can certainly vouch for that! She did a great job on my back and I would go back to her especially for a back or full body massage. My only issue is that I am a runner and I asked her to focus on my legs. Once she found that knot on my back, she fixated on that area, spending most of the time on my back and not my legs. She said my back was tighter. Still, my legs were more painful since I ran a 10K the weekend before. If I go back to her, I would specify in minutes how much time I want her to spend on my legs. All in all, I thought it was a good massage! Adela is a good masseuse and would be fantastic for a relaxation massage or a general deep tissue. Just make sure to help her keep track of which areas to massage if you are coming in for a specific problem area. For a deep tissue, do not be afraid to tell the massage therapist to move on from an area if they get too fixated on a knot.

I had a fantastic deep tissue massage with Adela (I’m sorry if I’m spelling this wrong) yesterday. She was absolutely amazing and very knowledgable. She worked out knots that I didn’t even know I had as well as focused on the problem area I came in for. Plus she gave me a scalp massage and used eucalyptus oil when she massaged my face. Great experience! I came in for a relaxation massage but after talking with me she decided I needed a combination deep tissue/​relaxation massage. Insanely relaxing and man is she strong! I’m feeling a lot of relief from my pain today. Thank you Adela!!!
The only reason I can’t give this place a 5 star review is that it isn’t exactly the fanciest place ever. Everything was clean and comfortable, just not the Ritz. Adela gets 5 stars, the facility gets 3.5.

Dollar for dollar, as good as it gets, find the massage therapist that works best for you — Cookie is the person I always book with, while I get a relaxation massage she always works a lil deeper where I need it, shoulders and upper back usually, and does a great job and she presents a comfortable environment and demeanor — in other words, I can relax and enjoy this vice. Been going here for about 2 years now.

Seriously, worst massage I have ever had. And I have one every month. She did not know what she was doing. She rushed through everything. My body was more uncomfortable than anything the whole time. She massaged my spine which I know you do not do unless you REALLY know what you’re doing and she clearly did not. Did not focus on any part that we discussed. Did not elevate my feet at all. Did not attempt to get rid of any knots I had. Talked through the service. And then complimented my underwear? What the hell? So unprofessional. The whole massage felt unprofessional and weird. I feel as if I didn’t get anything done. I just wanted the massage to be over with. I was completely dissatisfied and I will not return. You get what you pay for.

I had another great deep tissue massage today! I only book with Cooky now because she is wonderful! I am very hard to please when it comes to my massages because I alway have so many knots. Cooky does exactly what I ask her to focus on. I have been coming here for about 3 years and have always had a great experience. All therapist are good. The prices is incredibly reasonable, which allows me to come more often! I HIGHLY recommend this place!

I like the location of the place and its value for money. I paid $ 80 for a one hour facial and one hour massage. The massage was on the higher average side but the masseuse was very friendly and concentrates on the points I told her to.
The facial was definitely a first for me. Gina walked me through what she was doing and told me about what sort of after care I needed, I’ve rebooked with her again! I would definitely recommend this place!

I loooveeee this place I have been coming here for a while now and I always look forward to my massage with JC he is the best. The place is not a fancy spa but it’s cute and clean, plus you can’t beat the fact that you could get a 50 min massage for 25 bucks on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Make sure you call ahead for an appointment.

Essentials is very hit or miss depending on who you get. That being said, regardless you can not beat the price/​value. My favorite is the deep tissue massage for $ 40. Please be aware that is will only be 45 minutes. The facials are very nice and start at $ 30.
Recently I went in for a couples massage. It was my boyfriend’s first one so he was shy. The room was romantically decorated with rose petals and good music. Cooky did his massage and Adela did mine. Both were amazing and I highly recommend them. Adela used her whole bottle to work out my tense upper back and shoulders. It was the first time I felt relief in months. The facilities are very nice and clean as well. I frequent this place because of the value, but make sure when you find a good person you always request them.

Went in for a massage, I have been before and have only had good experiences. This time around was not the usual. Massage was with JC. The guy came to get me 5 minutes late, never introduced himself, gave an ok massage but ruined it by only giving a 42 minute massage when I paid for a 50 minute massage. when I mentioned this to the girl at the counter she gave a ‘I couldn’t care less’ sorry and still proceeded to charge the full price. will only go back if I get an appointment with specific massage therapist and never JC again.

I had a horrible few days at work and my shoulders were just in knots. I saw the advertisement for the $ 25.00 massage and figured I would try it… got in the same day. Adella did my massage and it was just amazing. I have had probably 50 massages in my life and this was great. I will definitely be returning to her.
Having said that, its not a glamorous place or a spa like environment, but it served it’s purpose.
