Cornerstone Pub

Just stopped in for a beer. This in an ok dive bar. Beer is cold & priced well. Staff is friendly. Pool table. Only issue is this bar allows smoking & they really smoke there. Dirty ashtrays every 2 ft on the bar. Guess I got used to no smoking in most bars.

Great for fair priced drinks! The bar staff is always friendly! They are open late and have delicious boiled peanuts!

The bar itself was pretty good. We stopped in for karaōke after a comedy show. The guy was real nice but the sound is horrible! It’s all treble and zero reverb. Any basic mixer will have that so I’m not sure why it wasn’t being used. Bad bad bad. They need to get that fixed because if I’m back in town I wouldn’t be inclined to return.

So we just moved into the neighborhood and were looking for a place to call our ‘night cap spot’. We found it! Yay! The atmosphere is very chill and toned down. There were people playing pool, others just watching the game on the multiple televisions and the bartender talking to her regulars. They have the normal beers on tap. Nothing frufy, but they did have an apple cider on tap which just put me in a happy place. They have a full liquor bar and chips to purchase and snack on. It’s laid back and friendly.

me and the misses was just looking for a spot to have a cold beer before we called it a night and stumbled across this hidden gem. cornerstone pub is pretty much your local neighborhood bar complete with pool table and a kickin soundtrack. They have various draft specials on the menu which looked interesting however the bimini IPA was what caught my eye and was what quenched my thirst that evening. our bartender Traci was very accomodating and catered to us by getting us what ever we wanted. we even shared a mutual love for munchos potato chips!
any one whose looking for a low down place to unwind and have a beer, come check this place out. plus they have game nights on wednesdays!

Great place to have a beer and chill with your friends. A great place to hang out regularly. They have karaōke on the weekends and good music to chill to. Definitely would go back again whenever I want to get out at night. They are open during the day as well.

I have been to the Cornerstone many times, and the experience has been marginal at best. Tonight I decided to give it one last try. Unfortunately, or fortunately, I met the owner of the place. Wow, what an ice queen, if I treated my customers like that I probably would not have any. The bartenders are great, but if this is the way the owner treats her customers, I will not be gong back any time soon.

The Cornerstone Pub is one of those great little local neighborhood watering holes with a personality to fit their community. Cornerstone Pub can be found on Northdale Boulevard, just west of Whole Foods. They’re in a small shopping plaza with a Cuban restaurant named Pepo’s.
A friend of mine had told me about the place, so I stopped in for a beer following dinner up the road. The Pub has a great Irish bar feel, and it offers several big flat-​screen TVs showing sporting events, a pool table, and electronic dart board, shuffleboard bowling, and a variety of electronic games.
In addition they are known for their karaōke and trivia nights. They kick off the show starting on Wednesdays from 9 pm til 1 am, and then on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10 pm til 2 am. These folks take their karaōke very seriously, and there were some darn good singers in the bar tonight. They also have a DJ playing music, and spontaneous dancing will break out among the patrons.
The menu is your basic pub grub with wings, pizzas, burgers, and so on – plus they have about 25 beers on tap with drink specials.
If you live in this area, then you’d likely enjoy hanging out at the Cornerstone Pub.
