History

Established in 1982.

Comvest Builders is a boutique style construction company which has been in existence for over 35 years. Comvest Builders was an idea brought from the vast experience and forethought of Stavros’ father, John N. Laliotis, P.E. John started J.N.Laliotis Engineering and Construction in 1982. The company was designed to incorporate both civil/​structural engineering and general construction. Now Comvest Builders has grown into the business it is today, run by John’s son Stavros Laliotis and his business partner Steve Armstrong. They keys to Comvest’s success has been the focus on working as our client’s trusted advisor and taking responsibility to ensure the success of a project.

Business Owner

Steve Armstrong professional who has been involved with residential and commercial real estate with Smith and Associates. Steve is enjoys being focused on the preservation of our natural resources and the environment. As a Florida Green Building Certifying agent, Steve has helped developers, builders and homeowners reduce their carbon footprint and incorporate solar and green building principles into their designs. Steve has lived in the Tampa Bay area multiple times since the 1980s. His background includes many years involved with technology startup entities and enterprise software solution sales. Steve is a Finance graduate of Auburn University.

Steve believes strongly in keeping it local. As a result he is involved in the Tampa Bay Watch Organization, The Sustany Foundation, and the St. Pete Chamber of Commerce.
