I was in town on business and used some extra time to get caught up on the long-forgotten beauty régime. My nails had been neglected for some time. They took their time and did a thorough job on my mani pedi. Same with the brow wax too. I knew I was in bad shape and appreciated the attention to detail. In fact, I’d come back if I could. They’re better than my salon back home and priced better too.

This is my favorite salon in tampa. They are very professional and nice and I love that they serve beer/wine here. I always get a gel french manicure and it lasts for almost 4 weeks! The best times to go are during the week and Sundays! I recommend making an appointment for a Friday or Saturday appointment.

Really great service! I recommend at least calling ahead for an appointment. I did and they were really busy when I got there, but it was well worth the wait!

Good salon. They are very nice and try their best to accommodate everyone. Call in advance for appointment even if it is same day so you don’t have to wait. Chairs are comfortable and services are good. Nice selection of nail color and pricing is comparable to other salons. Free parking at grand central garage. Mu regular service is the gel manicure and regular pedicure. They also make my husband feel welcome so he can have a pedicure and a beer.

They have a cute nail place, however, if you are in a hurry, don’t come here to get them done. They definitely take a long time to do your nails. They also don’t have a lot of people working so the wait can be rather long. Also, the lady who did my nails made several comments about my legs telling me I should wax my legs instead of shaving while also giving me a dirty look. This made me feel self conscious, and disappointed because I thought they did a great job on my nails but I don’t want to continue to go to a place that picks at my flaws.

Love this nail salon! For those of us living in downtown it is in a great location. Parking is kind of tough. I usually find a spot on the street so I don’t have to go in the structure. Reasonably priced services. Very clean and modern looking salon. Tip: they offer beverages such as water, soda & oh and wine!!!

I have visited many Nails salons in the Tampa Bay area and finally Channelside Nails salon had made me a happy customer and earned my business. I entered the store the first time and was greeted by a very friendly tech. Her name was TD. She sat me on the pedicure chair, turned on the massager and asked me if I want anything in the wine chiller. Drinks in the chiller are free! TD was very diligent and did a thorough job trimming my excess skin and nails. She gave the best foot massage ever. So comfortable that I dozed off. My hands and feet felt extremely clean once she finished. I am a loyal customer at this salon so I can attest to the work quality and customer service here. I saw some nice gels and pink-and-white jobs done by TD and Sonda. I am going to mention few other extra considerations you might find helpful. Parking can be a hassle in Tampa. However, this salon located directly beneath the garage so finding a parking slot is easy. Also, parking under 2hrs is free. The salon is next to a hair salon so it is very convenience to have your nails and hair done at one location. The salon has around 8 chairs and many tables so it is a bit cramp, a typical downtown business. However, it is very clean and well ventilated. Last but not least, it is always cool and comfy inside.

Where do I begin? Hmmm Ok. Let’s just say my second visit the other day was not what u expected at all. I have been here once before and would have rated 4 stars if my second visit was like the first one. I asked the nail tech to even out my nails but cutting the longer ones and the did not happen. I kept asking him to cut more and was frustrated by the millionth time and just let it good. Service was slow, I was told the wait was 30 minutes when it’s was actually almost an hour wait. I’ve even witness the dissatisfaction of a couple of customers one who’ve which was there waiting before me and I ended up going before her because the nail tech did not know how to work on nails with acrylics. Poor girl didn’t even get her nails the way she wanted it cause when she showed her nail the picture on how she wanted her nails the nail tech said no she couldn’t do it and gave a lame excuse. Anyways now I’m going back to regular nail place to get my nails fixed. This really sucks. The location is pretty cool located right next door to a hair salon in Channelside on Kennedy. Location is all this place has going for it. Unless for an extreme nail emergency like my last visit I will not be returning. So not happy with my nails right now :(

Very happy with the service at Channelside Nail Salon, that staff were very friendly and I was asked ahead of the waxing which area I would like them to focus on or avoid so if felt like the treatment was personalized for my needs. Would definitely go back — good value.

This is by far the best nail salon in South Tampa. They are always on time, kind, go out of their way to help you, and make sure that you are happy with your service. I just wish they wore name tags because I could suggest several technicians that gave me gel manicures that last 3 weeks.

My nails look amazing! Everyone here is very nice and takes the time to make sure your nails are perfect. Love that they offer you a beverage as well. Ask for the $ 35 pedicure! I had it today for the first time and it was the best pedicure I’ve ever had. She used a lavender scrub and lotion and then used hot stones during the massage. It felt amazing.

They do a good job here and it’s quick, although expect a wait during peak times like Friday evening and weekends. I’m always happy with my pedicures and gel nails from here. They also have a fridge full of water, soda, and beer that is free for patrons, be sure to grab one! There is some noise coming from the salon next door(hair dryers) since there is not a fully sealed wall between the two businesses(there are loft style open ceilings). So if you want a serene experience, you may want to schedule your visit while the salon is closed.

I went here last week to get my nails done and let’s just say that I found my new nail spot. I am very particular about my shellac since it can bubble and peel if not done right and she did such a great job! Even added a rhinestone on each nail for no extra charge. I will say however she botched my eyebrows so I’ve made a mental note to never get my eyebrows done here

I went back to have my fake nails and gel removed. The older lady immediately started trying to just pop off my fake nails!!! She did not even give me the choice to chemically soak to soften them first. They should always give you the option so you can make the choice and not do what is fastest and easiest for them. Popping off nails kills your original nails and makes even washing your hands in warm water painful. I am done going here.

Just moved to Tampa and have already been to two horrible nail salons. The last salon I went to(a few days ago). Left me with acrylic chipping and cracks in my nails. After reading reviews I decided on this salon. Im glad that I did. Sondra took off the horrible set I had and did my pink and whites perfectly. The free parking in the attached garage is a plus.

The tech did a good job, I had a gel fill– she did a good job, shaping, coloring– I had to ask to cut cuticles, I had to ask for another coat– and on top of it all she had bad attitude about it. If they had more attention to detail and more welcoming attitude would make it my go place. Update 3 days later gel is peeling— poor job

Never a disappointment when I leave this salon. Everyone here is super nice and professional. One of few salons where they don’t speak vietnamese and gossip while customers are in the shop.

I finally found this nail salon in Tampa off of Unilocal after trying out several disappointing salons. I’m so bummed I found this gem only a few months before transferring universities, or else I would continue to go here every 2 weeks. The technician I continued to see had been doing nails for over a decade — very experienced. I’m usually hesitant when people do my acrylics in under an hour, but she did so and she did it well every time. I am so picky about the shape of my nails and I have stiletto nails, which need to be shaped really carefully, and she nailed the shape every time. She also only charged $ 5 to put on black studded jewels on every finger, whereas most salons will charge a set fee per finger or for the amount of jewels, so this was a relief. My nails never chipped, broke, or lifted and looked great even if I was due for a fill. I only paid about $ 35 including a $ 5 tip, $ 5 jewel fee, and $ 5 for stiletto shape since they take so long to file. This is super inexpensive for the great quality. The only negative I experienced was when I made an appointment my third time I had to wait 15 min. They were really busy(surely due to their good prices and service) but I didn’t really mind because I knew my nails would turn out exactly how I liked them. The salon is a little hard to notice at first because it’s on the side of a building. Usually the GPS on a smart phone will take you to Kennedy in the direction where you can spot the parking garage first. It’s a little gap between the buildings and you can turn left or right into it off Kennedy. It’s free for 1 – 2 hours(usually enough time to get your nails done). Once you locate the garage, it’s super easy and convenient. I recommend this place to anyone in the area or willing to drive a bit out of their way. You can get in and out with great nails for an inexpensive price.
