Established in 1959, we are family owned and operated and specialize in offering personalized service. We are Security Solutions Experts and pride ourselves in finding reasonably priced solutions to solve a variety of security issues. We Recommend Medeco High Security Locks for Key Control and Pick (Bump) resistance as well as Hayman Safes and American Security Product Safes to protect against Fire and Burglary threats.

We are certified in KABA MAS Hamilton GSA Approved Security Devices and Containers as well as a number of architectural hardware manufacturers such as Schlage, Von Duprin and LCN. We also carry certifications as International Fire Door Inspectors by Intertek and are Perfect Raceway Certified to Core Drill Warnock Hersey Fire Doors for Electrical Raceways without compromising their Fire Rating.

History

Established in 1959.

In 1959, Benny’s was established in the Palma Ceia area of the South Tampa peninsula between the Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club and MacDill Air Force Base.

We are the longest continually operating «Brick and Mortar» Full service Locksmith Shop in Hillsborough County and our slogan «Here Comes Benny!» is recognized by several generations of Tampa residents as being synonymous with friendly service when you need it!

To date, we have cut well over 1 Million Keys, THAT WORKED!

Growing up in South Tampa, I attending Holy Trinity Lutheran School and Graduated as Class President from Bayshore Christian School in 1984. After that I attended St Petersburg Junior College (now St Petersburg College) and the University of South Florida with studies in Electrical Engineering and Electrical Engineering Technologies. I am currently one of only a few active Certified Master Locksmith’s in Central Florida and also carry the designations of Certified Security Specialists and International Fire Door Inspector.
