Arium Bay Pointe

Let me start the review by stating that I am not one to review apartments and especially not to post negative reviews but this apartment has been non stop trouble. I chose Arium to save money because they have low rates listed in comparison to the rest of the area. Here are the issues I have had since June:
On move in day the apartment switched units on me because they were «having issues with vendors» and didn’t have the planned unit finished.
The unit they put me in had no cabinet doors or drawers in the kitchen or bathroom and this didn’t bring down or prorated the rent. The full kitchen cabinet unit was leaning forward at the top and inch from the wall and still isn’t fixed after four requests from maintenance. The apartment was dirty on move in with dust crumbs and fingernails in the tracks of the closets. The closet doors were broken and didn’t fit in the rails and weren’t fixed for days. The water starts hot to lukewarm never cold. The maintenance staff hardly speaks English which makes it hard to communicate the problems that need fixing. They also get very defensive and don’t seem to understand customer service. Last week the downstairs neighbor came knocking on the door at midnight and I thought it was someone trying to break in because the hall light has been out for a month. They had a leak and it was found to be the ac unit dripping in the water closet. It was fixed and today someone came back complaining about another leak. This time, after sawing a hole in the closet, it was found to be a pipe from the tub dripping in the wall so I was kicked out of my apartment and forced to go wait outside fon over half and hour with my dog while they do God knows what to the place I pay 930 dollars a month for. The biggest issue has been the random kid who basically lives in the breezeway. He smokes weed with the neighbor all the time and still comes around after notifying the office and security multiple times. I would gladly pay an extra hundred dollars to live somewhere where my living situation doesn’t have to be cause for concern multiple times a month.
Please understand I am upset at the moment but I am writing all true events and hope you make a better choice when looking in the town and country area. This has just been far to much stress for such a large percentage of my income.

This apartment complex is one of the worse places I have ever lived. We moved from Pennsylvania to florida and had to rent. When we had problems and reported it they would take their time and then not fix the problem the water bill is split between apartments and you don’t truely get your own water bill. They say it is luxury apartments I don’t know what is luxurious about them it is horrible and loud and the maintenance people do not do a good job the pool is always dirty the fitness center was a joke for 6 out of the 11 months we lived there over half the machines were broken. The air conditioner would run all the time even though it said it was colder than what it was set at. Our bedroom was 76 degrees the maintenance man said the window needed replaced and they wouldn’t do that. Our electric bill for 3 people in a 900 sq ft apartment was never less than $ 180 we have double the size now in our house and all is electric and we have ceiling fans and our electric is only $ 120-​$ 130 a month that apartment complex is horrible old appliances the apartment always smelled and it was because the other tenants were not clean.
