It has been many years since I totally stopped wearing sunglasses… even though I live in Florida and spend virtually every sunny day outside on the golf course. Why? I gave up. No matter how much I loved a pair, I would always lose them after a relatively short amount of time. So, I was totally out of touch with what sunglasses look like and cost in 2016 until I was shopping in the mall with someone who cannot live without them for driving and laying by the pool. While I would much rather buy a nice flight to Las Vegas for less than the cost of some of the current names carried in this store, I respected how clean the store looked and the attention to deal of each pair on display. This is a very small space, yet they make good use of it. Their variety of brands, looks and styles is almost as impressive as the lone young female employee who was working there on this particular Wednesday night. Now I know what Maui Jim means and why the lenses are so popular. However, until the trip to Maui actually comes with the inflated $ 300 price tag, I will not be renewing my discontinued relationship with any pair of shades.
