This place is amazing! I brought my wedding dress in – which has a corset top that was too big in the bust– and they fit it to me perfectly! Seriously, they are magic workers here. I definitely recommend!

If you want any type of alteration completed on your clothes, go to Angel Custom Tailors. They alter my everyday clothes when they are torn or just need to be fitted a little better. They do a great job every time; I have never been disappointed with their work.
My wedding dress was altered here, and they also created a bustle for the train. It was obvious that they are committed to perfection when they are trusted with a project like a wedding dress. My dress fit perfectly, the price was reasonable, and they completed the dress in plenty of time for the wedding. It was a stress-​free experience.

If you have a dress that needs alterations then run don’t walk to this place! I had a bridesmaids dress that I took to them and was amazed how it turned out. The bridal shop I ordered the dress from, screwed up my measurements so my dress was a few sizes too big and looked horrible. Needless to say when I picked up the dress from the bridal shop I tried it on and cried. I didn’t think there was any hope of getting it fixed. It was lace so i knew I couldn’t take it anywhere. I found angels through Unilocal.Amazing. They got it done so fast. I was thrilled with the final product!

I came here based on all the great Unilocal reviews and I am so glad I did! I got a bridesmaid and a regular dress both altered here. Both times Angel and his staff were so welcoming and friendly and they did an awesome job! It was also so quick both times I got my dresses within a day or 2 and an affordable price!

They somehow altered 2, (yes I’m one of those nutty brides that had a ceremony and reception dress), wedding dresses for my day in a little over a week. The person who was supposed to alter them told me 10 days before my wedding they couldn’t anymore. So in frantically called them and to my surprise they said to come on in! I had both dresses shortened for my 5’2″ body, both needed to be taken in, one by just a little the other reduced from a bridal sz 16 to a sz 12. Both came out to PERFECTION! I’m beyond grateful they made such an effort to get them both done under such a tight deadline. Plus they’re all really nice! I took my bridesmaids dress in on a Monday to be altered. The customer service was amazing, the price was reasonable, and I was able to pick my dress up on Thursday. Thank you for your impeccable service!

I went to Angel to have a custom lace top made for my wedding dress. I had very specific ideas about how I wanted the lace top to turn out since it needed to be removable and not attached to the dress. I brought in photos and explained what I wanted and Angel and his assistant did a fantastic job at a good price. (Similar tops on Etsy went for $ 300-​$ 500, and I definitely wasn’t looking to pay that much). It did take about 6 – 8 fittings to get it exactly how I wanted but it turned out perfect and I got lots of compliments on it at the wedding. Can’t thank Angel Custom Tailors enough!

I cannot recommend Angel, et al, more! One thing that I learned early from my Mother is to always have a few key resources at your fingertips – great hair stylist, great shoe repair, and great tailor. Angel is IT!
I brought a flapper dress (for a costume party) and a wool-​blend blazer. He skillfully redesigned both which had their separate delicate design issues. The craftsmanship was exquisite. I never really worry about buying clothes a size too big, since I know that I can have them tailored to my physique. A+++++

Angel is a great guy. Has a great team of tailors and seamstresses from the old country. Never been disappointed by his fantastic service and speedy work ethic when you’re in a time crunch.

For years — in time of crisis or just general tailoring — we have depended upon Angel’s for all our alternations and repairs.
I feel sorry for those people living in the boonies who can’t find a quality tailor. It is a sign of Tampa’s you have A-​1 services.

Hands down, this is the best place for alterations.
Beautiful tailoring, I came in with a dress what we cut out the standard zipper and make the back into a corset style, which suited the look of this garment to a tee. By the time the seamstresses were finished, I now own a dress that looks like it was custom made for me, and the corset style was crafted professionally and perfectly.
Angel’s, you have rightfully earned a loyal customer.

I had been looking for a good Tailor in tampa for some time, its as hard to find a tailor as it is to find a good dry cleaner… But thanks to Angel i now have a go to tailor. So far he has hemmed 3 $ 700 suits and 2 of my wives dresses and all the work he and his team has done as well as the service has bee spectacular. I have also been in the stow a few times and i have only seen happy customers and professional and friendly service from Angel and his staff.

Angel *completely rebuilt* an ill-​fitting suit for me– took in the jacket by several inches, de-​pleated and de-​cuffed the pants, took the waist in and narrowed the legs of the pants from top to bottom. All for a very reasonable price, in less than a couple weeks (would have done it faster if I had asked), and fine-​tuned the alterations after two fittings.
Absolutely excellent work and service. I will be back.

I’ve never been disappointed — NEVER! I’ve had dresses, pants and even winter coats altered here.
Today I was there to see what he could do for a dress I picked up at David’s Bridal. They wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for a hem, removal of some iridescent beads (yuck) and taking the shoulders in. I was able to save some $$ and can get the dress back in 2 weeks not 6 weeks! SCORE

I am thrilled with the work the team at Angel’s did for me. I took them a very tricky project, my wedding saree, and they worked wonders. I needed a blouse made and they went above and beyond. First, I had no idea how to put the saree on. They happened to have a women in the back room from sri-​lanka who helped me with it. Second, I had a blouse that didn’t fit and looked terrible. They made me a brand new blouse that changed the look of the saree from frumpy to fabulous. Third, a saree is hard to wear because it is a lot of fabric just wrapped around you. They added hooks to the waist and back to hold the saree in place. I will not have to use loads of pins on my wedding day.
I was very worried that bringing a saree to a tailor was going to be a disaster, but I was so lucky I chose Angel’s. They are thorough and will make sure you love the end result!
I cannot say enough good things about them. I will be bringing my other Indian wedding outfits to Angel’s as well.

Angel and his wife have a small storefront on Kennedy Boulevard just to the west of Dale Mabry. They specialize in altering garments as well as made-​from-​scratch custom suits and dress shirts.
I took in two pairs of dress slacks which needed to be hemmed, and Angel decided that I also needed the seat taken in as well as some extra fabric in the thighs — basically he rebuilt these pants, and they turned out looking fantastic. They were ready in two days at a very reasonable cost for such outstanding work.
This weekend I’m trying on all of my suits to see which ones will need some expert alterations from Angel. After that I’m anxious to check out some custom-​made shirts.
Yes, he’s that good — and that is why many of the better menswear stores in town recommend his tailoring work.
