KB Mechanical Inc, started doing business in 2014 bu our roots in the Commercial HVAC industry in the Tampa Bay Region go much further back.
Karen Mitchell, President and co-founder, has more than 25 years of experience in the Commercial HVAC industry. Her background includes customer relations in the service department, accounting, and project coordination, as well as HVAC design. Prior to co-founding KB Mechanical, Inc. Karen was the General Manager for a successful commercial air conditioning company in the Tampa Bay area for 8 years. Karen worked closely with general contractors and building owners through the design process to completion of their new buildings. Karen holds a Class B Air Conditioning license with the State of Florida, and has attended many classes in air conditioning duct design, heat load calculations, and advanced systems design including zoning and building automation.

Karen Mitchell, President and co-founder, has more than 25 years of experience in the Commercial HVAC industry. Her background includes customer relations in the service department, accounting, and project coordination, as well as HVAC design. Prior to co-founding KB Mechanical with Bill Stearns, Karen was the General Manager for a successful commercial air conditioning company in the Tampa Bay area for 8 years. Karen worked closely with general contractors and building owners through the design process to completion of their new buildings. Karen holds a Class B Air Conditioning license with the State of Florida, and has attended many classes in air conditioning duct design, heat load calculations, and advanced systems design including zoning and building automation. Her experience, dedication to the industry and drive to succeed is the cornerstone to the success of KB Mechanical, Inc.
