History

Established in 2004.

Established in 2001 Jason and Sheryl Driggers opened Universal Collision’s doors in 2001. The Driggers were young, only 26 and 29 respectively, and neither had experience in the autobody industry — two big obstacles in the eyes of many. However, they did have a few things going for them. Both had business degrees, and Jason had befriended Frank Gandy, who brought more than 12 years of experience to the table. The Driggers were impressed with his knowledge of the industry and talks of a partnership began. In hopes of spending more time together, Sheryl put her degree to work and completed an extensive market analysis and business plan which confirmed Tallahassee’s ability to support another shop. When a facility became available, the three jumped at the opportunity and quit their jobs to delve headfirst into the new enterprise. The shop’s doors opened in October 2001, and another location was opened in July 2004. 10 years later, both shops still offer Tallahassee’s best service & repair
