In the early months of 2010, I began searching for my mom’s paternal relatives since her family knew next to nothing about them. After signing up on Ances​try​.com, I became absorbed with the research process, and eventually branched out to other parts of my family after my mother’s Callahan roots hit a brick wall. At the same time, I began questioning my mother and my paternal grandparents about their lives, looking for more clues that I could use while looking for relatives. Instead, what I found was a growing interest in writing down their stories, and my involvement with recording personal history blossomed from there. I loved hearing and writing stories before I began researching my genealogy. I never imagined that this series of events would lead me to start Paperclipped Memories, LLC.
