I’m all about supporting small business and entrepreneurs… and the menu is creative(Korean BBQ steak sushi burrito — yes please! Chicken and Waffles — so original!) and prices are reasonable for what you get.

When I flew out to San Francisco for Unilocal training, one of the traditions is to take the ambassadors to Sushirrito, home of, that’s right — the sushi burrito. Munchiez Rollz, although maybe not as finely tweaked, elevates flavor profiles by throwing together ridiculous combinations of Americans favorite foods into sushi rolls and yes, even sushi burritos. For Tallahassee, it’s pretty cool we’re home to a place like this. I ordered delivery while working the night shift a few weeks ago. Although I’m not a fan of online ordering, this seemed fairly easy. I decided on the classic Shrimp Tempura sushi burrito. The flavors were all there. The burrito actually held up, too. There were giant pieces of shrimp tempura, and the spicy mayo tasted great. I’m not positive, but I believe as of recently, you can actually dine in at Munchiez Rollz. They used to only strictly deliver. I’m curious to see how fresh the product is. Life is short. Eat a sushi burrito. Support an upcoming, local business.

I ordered delivery at 3:40pm. 4:45pm and my food still isn’t here. I call munchiez to ask what is the hold up and they proceed to tell me that we were busy. For an hour I ask? Then they tell me we’re sorry but our delivery driver never showed up to work. It’s been an hour though and no one has attempted to contact me. Then the tables get turned and now it’s my fault that the person whom took my order never wrote down my number? I was presented with a nasty attitude by the person on the phone who made it seem as though I were the one that was wasting her time. I will probably never know the wonders of this restaurant because after this horrible service I will more than likely not order from here ever again.

My whole life I have been a fan of sushi due to my family’s habits. When I received the flashy Munchiez rollz flyer and saw a chicken and waffles sushi roll I think I literally cracked a smile reading so. Since Munchiez has been in the streetz my personal favorite roll is the gas station hibachi(shrimp tempura, avocado, cucumber, cream cheese, sweet&spicy Doritos crunched on top drizzled with teriyaki) UNBELIEVABLETOSAYTHELEAST. The delivery service is welcoming, young, respectful, college aged group of kids doing their thing. A must try at the least. Would be surprised to see a negative comment.

The creativity and explosion of diverse flavors and textures found in these sushi rolls deserves a reward for culinary genius. You’ve got to try it. You’ll be hooked
