Lowe’s

Went to buy a replacement kitchen faucet. Yay. They had one.
Still doesn’t change the fact that I’m «sickly» and ought not be around others for a day or two…
In fairness to Lowe’s: Staff always proactive in helping me. I was walking around aimlessly and one of the associates asked if he could point me in the right way. Aisle 27 was were I ended up.
Large assortment of faucets to choose from — both three and four hole. Narrowed it down to a Moen 4-​hole pull-​out sprayer.
Checkout is always swift — I went through easily, and then bumbled back to the van, to head to Publix, to get my drugs, to get over this cursed ailment that is preventing me from going to this great li’l Unilocal shindig tonight…

The people at the customer service desk look like they resent their job. Most of the people shopping at Lowe’s seem nice enough, so it seems unwarranted. The appliance delivery guys rush and are sloppy, I had to re-​order a (special order) fridge because they broke the drip pan on delivery. I requested the door to hinge on the left, confirmed my order and it was delivered with the door hinges on the right. It was the end of the day and they rushed to make the change — and misthreaded the bolts… The door didn’t deal properly. It was a huge ordeal that wasted multiple days of my life meeting the delivery staff for deliveries and repairs. Eventually my request for compensation was agreed upon with a $ 100 gift card… But that was not mailed until I called a month later to inquire.
They do price match local prices and give an additional 10% off. You can another 5%? When you use your Lowe’s AMEX.

This place carries a lot of stuff and like other times they didn’t have enough to that stuff that I needed. Just a few sockets. You know just 20 of them is that so hard to have. Well on this trip I had to go to both store in Tallahassee and they had 14 combined. The people weren’t much help either.

Standing in the electrical department. There are 5 employees that I can see all standing around doing nothing and we have been waiting for help for 15 minutes. This is not the first time we have had this issue. So frustrating.

Been to this Lowe’s quite a bit recently. Clean store, helpful employees, everything you could want in a Lowe’s.
