History

Established in 1995.

Lori Geist began practicing massage therapy with Physician’s Referred Muscle Therapy Clinic. Five years later, under her new-​found ownership of the Clinic, she shortened the name to Muscle Therapy Clinic. In 2009, she moved her practice to join with Dr. Joseph Miller a Chiropractic Physician as the Tallahassee Spine Center. The Tallahassee Spine Center is a multidimensional facility with several approaches to patient care. I relocated to Tallahassee from Clearwater Florida in 1990 and completed my Bachelors degree in Communications at The Florida State University. In 1994, after some research and a lot of encouragement from friends, I enrolled in classes at the CORE Institute of Massage Therapy and Structural Bodywork. CORE’s 500-​hour program prepared me for the State and National licensure exam. I have been a licensed massage therapist in Tallahassee for 15 years and love the challenges of my work and the relationships which have evolved from those challenges.
