KeyNotes Piano Studio has been offering the finest piano lessons in your own home in the Tallahassee area since 1996, and via Skype to the rest of the world.
I teach virtually all styles of music, and offer stress-free, fun lessons which incorporate a strong emphasis on music theory, history and form and analysis.
My students are welcome to participate in one of our three yearly recitals that we hold at the world-class venues in the College of Music at the Florida State University.
History
Established in 1996.
Jaime Garcia founded KNPS in the summer of 1996 after completing extensive piano studies at the Florida State University College of Music and the Moscow conservatory in Russia.

Business Owner
Jaime Garcia-Bolao is an experienced piano instructor. He began his musical instruction at age 3 in his native Spain, where he attended the Issac Albeniz Conservatory in Gerona and received a Teaching Diploma. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from The Florida State University College of Music, where he studied piano with the late Edward Kilenyi, as well as professors Leonidas Lipovetsky and James Streem. He also undertook extensive instruction in Piano Pedagogy with Dr. Victoria McArthur.
Mr. Garcia-Bolao is a member of MTNA (Music Teacher’s National Association), FSMTA (Florida State Music Teachers Association), the Tallahassee Music Teachers Association, and the American College of Musicians.
He attended the Moscow’s Peter I. Tchaikovsky’s Conservatory in Russia, where he studied piano with Margarita Fedorova, composition with Tikhon Khrennikov and theory withYuri Kholopov.
Mr. Garcia-Bolao has also participated in Master Classes with world-renowned pianists.
