Tried to go to Lake Jackson Mounds and ended up here…
Decent spot for a cookout or maybe taking the kids to play (small playground) for about an hour. Not much too it other than the pavilions (stationary grills available), the playground, and a short boardwalk along Lake Jackson.
There IS a nice green on the drive in which several families were using during our visit for ball games and frolicking.
