This is a wonderful spot to relax, work, read, or study. It’s a wonderful oasis of peace and welcome. Food and drink offerings have been chosen with care — special attention to clean ingredients, and support for other local businesses.

Friendly staff, fresh coffee, fair prices, and good Wifi. This is a great place for a short business meeting or a long chat with a friend.

Great coffee, nice staff and fast wi-fi. Christian based coffee shop with lots of materials there and folks meeting for Bible study and other gatherings. A good, wholesome environment, for sure. Despite the growing crowd, it is a decent place to work if your looking for a coffee shop to hang out at. They were very welcoming and offered me the table for the day, should I need it. I’ll likely go back, as this was my second time stopping by there.

This may be the best-kept coffee secret in Tallahassee. A great cup of coffee at a GREAT price. I discovered Eternal Grounds on Christmas Eve while shopping for some last minute gifts at HomeGoods and Stein Mart. I was pleasantly surprised and have found myself wanting to go to this out of the way(for me) coffee shop over my normal coffee haunts. Eternal Grounds features Lucky Goat coffee and makes a terrific cup of coffee. Their prices are also fantastic! My favorite drink is the simple, yet delicious café au lait. Just half coffee, half steamed milk, yet some cafes(looking at you Atomic Coffee) have charged me over $ 4 for this basic drink. At Eternal Grounds, this drink cost the same as a standard coffee, meaning a LARGE café au lait costs $ 2.10 plus tax. Other drinks cost more, but all the drink prices are among the most reasonable in town. Lucky Goat has their own tasting room down on the circle that I haven’t been to yet, but I do know their coffee is great. For a drink like the café au lait, you are directed to fill your cup up at the carafe(think Panera bread /gas station style pump) and bring it back over. No problem with that. I should also mention that, if you drink regular coffee, you are permitted to come back up whenever and refill your coffee for 50 cents which you drop into a bucket on the honor system. The atmosphere is simple but intimate. The tables have nice table clothes and decorations on them, and the room just seems very calm and comfortable. I can’t remember if they play music, but if they do it is very unobtrusive. This coffee shop is in a strip mall, so that means the room is deep but narrow, with maybe 12 – 15 tables and a couple of comfortable chairs. It’s not big, but there’s always been plenty of room every time I’ve visited. The only big downside to Eternal Grounds is that the hours are limited. I think they close at 6pm most days and are closed on Sundays. Closing on Sundays brings up another point: As the name might suggest, this is NOT a secular coffee shop. In my experience, the coffee culture is somewhat irreligious, so perhaps that explains why so many are missing out on a great cup of coffee. As a matter of fact, after I finished the last sentence I checked out their website, and I sure called it: «Our mission is to be the premier destination for Christians and faith based organizations seeking a non-secular environment in the Tallahassee area to gather and socialize freely. Eternal Grounds welcomes everyone and provides excellent customer service to all. « I can’t tell if they are church-affiliated or just a Christian coffee shop, but either way the prices are great and service is wonderful. Every time I’ve been, the same person has taken my order and served me my drink. She is very friendly and helpful. After you place your order you are handed a «blessing» which is a little tied up scroll-like piece of paper with an inspirational Bible verse on it. If you’re not religious, just say«Thank you» and accept it. Not hard. There is also a bucket at the register where you can put in prayer requests. Even if you’re not religious at all, I wouldn’t let this aspect of the business scare you off. They don’t proselytize or take it much further than what I’ve described. Eternal Grounds also has a small section selling merchandise, such as branded coffee mugs and the like. This area also has a display describing some charity work or «proceeds go to» arrangement that Eternal Grounds participates in as part of its mission. The bottom line: Eternal Grounds offers an excellent cup of coffee at an incredible price that is served with a smile and that you can drink in a small, but comfortable atmosphere. One of my favorite coffee shops in Tallahassee.
