For two decades, EMO/​ARCHITECTS, INC. (EMO) has remained committed to creating and enhancing cultural, economic and social value through our integrated disciplines and entrepreneurial philosophy. The firm’s unique approach to envisioning, designing and implementing projects is supported by our innovative founder, Warren Emo. EMO’s multi-​disciplinary studios comprised of creative and talented architects, planners, designers, and general contractors provide a unique collaboration for each project in which we engage and successfully complete.

History

Established in 1989.

Founded in 1989, EMO/​ARCHTECTS, INC. started out as a modest 3-​person architectural firm in Tallahassee, Florida. Now with our growing number of architects, planners, designers, LEED Accredited Professionals and general contractors, our firm services a wider base of clientele throughout the Southeastern United States. We provide master planning, programming, architectural design, design/​build and construction services for a select group of universities, colleges, financial institutions and governmental entities.

Warren E.

Business Owner

Warren Emo, AIA, NCARB, CGC serves as the Principal-​In-​Charge at EMO/​ARCHITECTS, INC. With over 36 years of experience in architecture, design and construction, he brings vast knowledge of project management, facility and infrastructure concerns and risk mitigation. He is a member of several professional organizations including the American Institute of Architects, National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and the U.S. Green Building Council. He has recently received several awards for his «outstanding design excellence» in architecture. His work is so highly regarded that he has been appointed by the Governor’s office as a member of the State of Florida Board of Architecture and Design from 2010 – 2013.

Since founding EMO/​ARCHITECTS, INC. in 1989, Mr. Emo has led his company to receive the Small Business of the Year Award from the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce.
