Really polite service and help. A little messy, but it adds to the charm. Big selection comics and figures, as well as knickknacks

Awesome comic book store! The owner and employees are very friendly. You can find pretty much anything you want here, and to make it even better they have an art gallery you can walk around, too!

Out of the four comic book shops in the Tallahassee area, Cosmic Cat Comics takes it for a few reasons. 1.) They have the best hours. For the busy life of working college students and the working class in general, it’s great that they are open past five or six on most days. 2.) The space is very cool, connecting to their art gallery and housing a wide variety of titles both current and old. 3.) Unlike other stores, the Cat STILL gives a discount to hold file customers, along with free bags and boards. 4.) The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, happy to help you order anything that they don’t have in stock. 5.) There are deals that are always available, like buy one, get one ½ off on trades and graphic novels, art books, etc. 6.) Get to be a regular, and you have the chance to take part in all kinds of events, like their monthly beer and wine tastings, drawing sessions, etc. The store is just plain awesome. The other customers are friendly and considerate and always eager to start a conversation about the latest issue of whatever. I’ve shopped here for years and wouldn’t take my business anywhere else.

Yeah, um… The Cat hasn’t been at the Tharpe Street location since around 2005 or so. Damn, man, who’s in charge here? It’s like, post this info on a Newsgroup in 1995 when it might have done someone some good. I’ll be helpful here: They’re in Railroad Square now.
