I am writing this review because I saw the owner try to cheat a young woman and her daughter. I don’t want that to happen to anyone else. He tried to cheat me, too, but I know better.
Have you ever seen a caricature of a used car salesman? Cross that with an unhelpful and unfriendly computer nerd caricature and you’ve got the situation. It would be a funny cartoon if it wasn’t so sinister.

I walked into the shop looking for a PS/​2 mouse. For those of you who don’t know, this is literally a disposable item. New computers often don’t come with the port and so they have been rendered useless. In bulk they cost less than a dime per dozen.
It is less of a shop and more of a junk heap. It is unprofessional and disorganized. It is a spider web as well, because once you’re in, you’re prey. While I was there, a woman and her daughter were looking for a laptop. Almost everything that came out of Angelo’s mouth was either an ignorant mis-​truth or an intentional lie. He was blatantly trying to pawn off inferior products at prices that would have gotten this woman a brand new laptop. It was disgusting.
She must have gotten tired of his used car salesman pressure or simply caught him in a lie, because she just got on her cell phone while he was talking, turned her back, and walked away.
Finally he gets around to me (I’d been standing there for some time, unable to move because there is nowhere to walk in the shop). I ask him for the item and he pretends that he only has one and he’ll have to suffer to give it to me and it’ll be five dollars. The guy is unhinged.
In summary: this is now, and has long been, the business model for these tiny computer shops which have been exploiting people for 15 or 20 years. They prey on people who simply don’t know better, then when they run into resistance, they don’t know how to behave.
It was a horrible experience that left me feeling dirty.
