What isn’t there to love about Cold Stone? The service here has always been friendly, and the ice cream is always delicious. I ordered their current special, something with fudge truffle ice cream and brownie bits… due to extreme flavor explosion, I’m unable to remember the proper name. The only bad thing about this location is the size — it’s so tiny, and the line can get backed up(and out the door) very quickly. Parking can also be a bit of a headache at times. All in all, a good location that hits the spot if you’re craving some Cold Stone magic.

After a great meal we decided to come here since we were already out. A little pricey but worth the enjoyment.

Oh, the humanity! On the 4th of July, we stopped in to Cold Stone for a post beach, post dinner treat. The line was deep, but what made the wait time frustratingly long was the fact that only one employee, I REPEATONEEMPLOYEE, was situated behind the counter. Truthfully, it wasn’t entirely her fault. She expedited cups, cones and frozen concoctions rather quickly for the circumstances at hand. However, you don’t make each item and then force the customer to stand at the register without ringing them up. It’s not only bad business for themselves, but it tempts the consumer to walk out without paying. Of course we paid, but I was over half way done with my cup before I was rung up. Ice cream establishments are the feel good types of places. Normally, you’re with a group of friends, a significant other or family members when you go out for ice cream. It’s usually a destination. The finished product should be enjoyed and savored. But this visit was painfully exasperating. If the product had the WOW factor, I’d make an exception. But for mediocre ice cream, I’d rather spend my funds elsewhere.

Better than Haagen-Dazs. Enjoy chocolate ice cream, waffle cone and my birthday cake!

Man, even for ice cream this stuff is saccharine sweet, with a sticky, gummy texture that recalls marshmallow fluff. I’ve heard it’s specially formulated to resist melting. Mmmmm… laboratory ice cream. I went there with a couple of friends and by the time we got to Woodward we were looking for a trash can.
