I stayed at this best western because it was close to FSU an it was a decent price, when I arrived it was tucked behind the verizon store an next to kohls. when I checked in the hotel the lobby smelt like weed an air freshener it was 11pm an a young kid was behind the desk. When I walked to my room there was 2 crack heads hanging outside by the pool clearly they didn’t belong there, there was also a guy an a girl that lived at this hotel an they where always by the pool 1 kid was always drunk an obnoxious so I didn’t get to enjoy the pool. The room itself was clean the maids did a very good job at keeping the room in decent shape, the bathroom exhaust fan was extremely load, hot water in the shower was alright the actual bathroom could use an update, TV was huge had all channels you need the bed was very comfy an the pillows where amazing I had a great night sleep there, breakfast was alright just wish there was more seating because all the tables where taken when I got there. Overall the hotel was disappointing for the price I paid wish I could have gotten to enjoy the pool a bit more

Checked in this evening. This is an outside entry hotel, which we arent crazy about. They are currently remodeling… can’t tell if we have a «new» room or not… big room… very dated but pretty clean… let ya know more in the morning…

Pros: Hot breakfast! Sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits, sausage gravy. Doughnuts. Inn is on a street with lots of restaurants. Our room is extra big, even for King-size. It also has a couch in a larger suite area. The bathtub has extra handrails. Cons: Inn is hard to see from the parkway. Turn in at the BW sign on the pkwy, and the inn is behind a street-front business [Verizon?]. No Cheerios. The latch on our room door is too hard to open. I think I’ll put a little vaseline on it. Inn is two floors, and I don’t think there is an elevator. Ask for a ground-floor room if taking your own luggage up an outdoor staircase would be a problem for you.

Found out at the last minute that we needed to stay an extra day in Tallahassee to get the college kid all settled in. Pickings were slim as it was move in weekend for all three surrounding colleges in the area, so there was a lot of supporting families definitely needing rooms. I try to stay clear of hotels with outside entry to rooms, but hey it was one night. The room was nice and clean, plenty of space. The furnishings were very traditional, nothing to get excited about. Now for the continental breakfast, the staff was not friendly in the dining area. We witnessed one woman who was called into the dining room to mop coffee off the floor. Was she upset or what? She threw around the mop handle like it was worst enemy, rolled her eyes, walked around like she hated the fact that she even exists. Wow, it was pretty comical to witness and other patrons witnessed as well. Everyone chuckled among themselves. Now onto the food, it was bad. Did I say bad? Yea, they ran out the dark blend coffee and finally attempted to brew more. There was the dreaded powdered eggs, ample amount of cereal, but they ran out of milk. From what I witnessed, they were not happy or quick about replenishing anything. If you’re not down there between 6:30am-8:00am, you’re pretty much screwed. Anything between 8 – 9 will be scraps.

Nice hotel off the main drag and very quiet. Staff were all very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable, even a heated bathroom floor! The hot breakfast was nice and was re-filled several times. The friendly lady manning it kept everything clean and re-filled. We will stay here again on our next trip to Tallahassee

I stayed at the Best Western Pride Inn and Suites when I first moved to Tallahassee. It’s nice and clean with a very friendly staff. The rooms are large and have a little TV area where you can relax and watch television or eat without sitting on the edge of a bed. I have stayed in nicer hotels, but not for the price. Inexpensive, centrally located, clean, and friendly. For the price an excellent value.
