From the moment you step in the waiting room to the time you are ready to check out we want you to feel welcome and comfortable. We will involve you in the decision making process and make the best treatment plan for your animal companions. We also offer emergency appointments and walk-​ins for those times where calling ahead is not an option.

While growing up in Chicago, Dr. Laura Fredricks discovered she had a strong bond with animals. After graduating from high school, she followed her dreams of becoming a veterinarian and moved out west to attend Colorado State University. In 2004, she completed her bachelors degree in Zoology, with a minor in Anatomy and Neurobiology. She continued her veterinary education at Colorado State and graduated in 2008. She has been practicing veterinary medicine in the Rogue Valley since 2010, specializing in surgery and ophthalmology. In January 2013, she joined the Best Friends Animal Hospital team.
