I recently used a Groupon for a move in/​deep cleaning, on my landlord’s behalf, with Blessing Buddies. I called the owner, Urrika, who set a strong precedent for their in-​person visit. She asked thoughtful questions and explained more about their services and pricing. I thought that needing them to come in 2 days, before my movers, would be a deal breaker. But, they were super accommodating in their scheduling!
On the day of, the team of 3 were kind and super thorough! As a newer business they’re still fine tuning their appointment timing. But, when I saw them cleaning areas of my small apartment that I would have never even thought to address I knew hiring them was well worth it.
Moreover, I had a new free standing bathroom cabinet in the hallway ready to be set up in my freshly cleaned bathroom. The young man with BB offered to bring it in from the hallway, position it in the bathroom and clean it’s shelves!
I was so impressed with the care and thought that went into this appointment. Really, it is only an extension of the overall passion the owners have for their business. This is a wonderful husband and wife start up and they are both excited about delivering high quality service to their clients.

I was looking for a last minute house cleaning… mostly because it was my birthday, people were coming in from out of town, and I didn’t want to do it. I reached out to a number of companies on Wednesday evening to see if there was ANY way somone could come Friday morning. Blessed Buddies was not only able to fit me into their schedule, but did an AWESOME job. They were a little late, but nothing that made a difference (maybe 9:00 instead of 8:30?).
I showed the guys around our smallish house, and headed down to the basement to work. Each time I came upstairs I was AMAZED at the things they were cleaning. The poor dude tackled the INSIDE OF OUR STOVE which I know hasn’t been touched since we moved in 2 years ago (we’re monsters). My husband’s bathroom is somewhat tragic and I didn’t hear any weeping or cursing during it’s reclamation.
While I am pretty good at keeping the house tidy, even my husband admitted that having them come every month or two would be totally worth it and he was hesitant to the idea to begin with. So YAY for Blessed Buddies! I hope they keep improving and make a successful go of it.

Purchased a 90-​minute cleaning session with a flash coupon (I know, it’s the first sentence of every meh review, but it seems relevant).
They were 2 hours late in arriving at our building. We were charged a $ 30 pet fee, although no special attention was paid to cleaning up pet hair (e.g. under the sofa or even on the bedroom carpet) — this may have changed, see below. There is an extra charge (of $ 7.50 each) for cleaning glass doors, but they only cleaned the inside (which is all their policy says they’ll clean, but I can do that with windex, it’s the outside that’s harder to clean). Maybe our expectations were too high, but the apartment was about as clean afterwards as after we put in a couple hours ourselves on a Saturday afternoon.
Our contact with the service’s management didn’t improve our experience. When they were late in arriving, we called them 15 minutes after the start of our scheduled session — they didn’t reach out to us – and at the time, they told us the cleaners were «on their way.» They texted us a couple updates in the next hour, first giving us an ETA (of 90 minutes late) then pushing it back. After the cleaning, the owner did reach out to us for feedback, noting that they’ve only recently expanded into this line of business (they also do in-​home eldercare services), which was a plus. And after discussing the pet fee, she said that the company would review its policy, which it appears to have done, judging from the website. Unfortunately, they have no formal policy to compensate for lateness, and while she initially offered us a $ 25 prepaid visa card to make up for the pet fee, the offer was later retracted, and we were offered credit toward a future cleaning.
I know it’s a small, new business, and it’s likely that your future experience will be an improvement on ours, but with the way things went, we aren’t exactly in a hurry to use that credit.
