Renee and Alissa M.
Business Owner
Artists Renee Koijane and Alissa Morganti are co-founders and partners in the business. Renee Koijane is an oil painter and seeker of objects with forgotten potential. Colorful, expressionistic style portraits – of humans and animals – along with «still life» are the subjects that seem to extend from her heart to the canvas. Renee is primarily self taught with a sprinkling of classes taken at the San Francisco Art Institute, the Lill Street School in Chicago and Sierra Nevada College.
Alissa Morganti is a creative thinker who enjoys bridging the gap between thought and action. She was primarily focused on painting as a budding young artist, but has since come to embrace art from nature, fiber and found objects. One small heart shaped rock on the beach often leads to one large stone mosaic. She has enjoyed teaching children about art and creativity for more than a decade.
Both partners are long time locals now in Tahoe and continue to derive much inspiration here.
