We had a huge tree growing through the middle of our back deck, and although we had always appreciated the beauty it brought to our home, one day we noticed that the branches were hitting the windows like broomsticks in the night. And then we found out our son was lighting bottle rockets off the deck and sometimes hitting the tree branches that appeared to be dead or dying. TEENAGERS! So, we gave Jeremiah a call and he came out that day to estimate the tree work. We thought it was going to need to be taken out altogether, but he assessed it fairly and suggested we just prune back the branches that were on the north side of our house! He commended us for contacting him at just the right time and explained to us that winter is actually the best time of year to prune trees to prevent cross infestation or infection between trees. The crew showed up promptly the day of the work and they took care of our tree without wearing spikes! As far as tree ethics goes, these guys are doing it the best, with the most care and kindness for the environment. They have the most knowledgeable arborists on staff… trust me, we did our research: citations in proper order.

We had a very large tree that was pulling on the foundation of the house. Jeremiah was out promptly, gave us a reasonable quote and took out the permit for us. The crew was very nice and extremely professional. I was so impressed with the way they took the tree down piece by piece and did a great job of cleaning up. I would definitely recommend and hire them again.

We had a tree blow down in a recent storm a had a couple of others that were suspect so called Jeremiah and he was out the very next day to inspect and give us a quote! Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and our situation. Gave us excellent advice and a reasonable quote. Even took care of the permit process. Worked with us on timing and showed up promptly as scheduled. To watch his guys work was amazing. Trees (huge ones BTW) came down without a problem. Great guys to work with. Highly recommended!

We recently purchased a home in Tahoe Vista and let’s just say the old rounds, down tree debris, number of trees that needed to be limbed, etc was less than desirable when we moved moved in. Shortly after, I met Jeremiah and I cannot say enough great things about him and his team. We had Jeremiah come over and assess the work that needed to be done and within a couple days he had two crew members at our house and within an hour or so we had a very clean yard. They removed all of the rotten rounds, branches, etc and left the area exceptionally clean. I was very happy to not have to clean up after them raking needles or leftover debris. The knowledge, experience, timeliness and overall professionalism we received was above and beyond our expectations. Thank you Jeremiah and Crew for an exceptional job well done!

We had a tree needing lots of dead limb removal and they cleaned it up perfectly. The whole crew, lead by Hunter, was courteous, safety conscious and did a great job from start to finish. Yard was cleaned up better than when they arrived. Knowledgeable, professional, great levels of communication throughout the project — what more could you want?
Would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely use them again.

Recently, I had Jeremiah’s Tree Service remove 8 trees from my Tahoe City yard. Two of the trees were over 14″ and so required a TRPA permit, which Jeremiah quickly arranged. Jeremiah’s crew started work a few days later and finished in less than two days. Three of the trees required climbing and two were over 100′ tall, one of which was fairly close to the house and the other had shrubs growing near its base, which I didn’t want to have damaged. The crew, led by Hunter Nelson, were excellent. They were careful to protect nearby plantings, amazingly skillful in how they topped and felled the trees, and exceptionally thorough in cleaning up rounds, branches, and sawdust. They would be first on my list for any future work.

I had a dead tree in my yard and was concerned about having it fall on the neighbor’s driveway. I was very pleased with the service from Jeremiah’s Tree Service. They are professional all the way, yet friendly and courteous. I enjoyed meeting them, as well as very much appreciated their professionalism. They are communicative about their services and they showed up when they said! (That doesn’t always happen around here!)
They came out promptly and gave me an estimate. Then, on the job, they were quick and efficient. They cleaned up afterward, leaving it even better than when they arrived! They are knowledgeable arborists and were able to educate me about my trees. I have to add that I called another local tree service first because I knew their name better. They did not return my call or email — I guess my one-​tree-​job was too small?!
