Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tahlequah

First, Internet in room was spotty. I would start to do something and get bumped off, I said something and the lady said they don’t get complaints and gave me another login. It didn’t change anything.
Second, I set the room at the coldest it would go. It would cool decent when running but then just stop and got muggy in the wait time for it to kick back on. I can’t sleep in stagnant air. After trying to sleep with the on again off again air till around 2am, I went down and asked if they had a fan. The guy told me, «sorry we don’t have any, but you could run across the road to Walmart and buy one.» Poor customer service in my opinion. I told him right then I would be checking out next day of my 2 day stay.
Thirdly, when I logged in on the Internet the holiday inn page came up and had prices for the evening. I booked a month out to save and was charged $ 119.99, had I waited till the day of it would have been $ 105.99. Felt as if I was getting slapped in the face and called an idiot for booking in advance every time I had to log back into the Internet. What upsets me is when I told them at the desk, the girl agreed that I got screwed. I figured they would have offered it to me at that price, but that didn’t happen.
I told the girl when I checked out about everything. She apologized and said they actually can make the air run continuously for some people who need it. Wish the night guy knew that instead of telling me to go buy a fan. I also told her I would write me honest feedback if Holiday Inn contacted me, which they did not. I waited a little over a month and figure I’d post this here since it seems they don’t care to get back with me.
The staff was over all friendly, which is why it is 2 stars and not 1. I will continue to stay at holiday inn but never again at this one.

This has to be the best hotel in Tahlequah right now. Brand new everything. Clean, courteous staff, business amenities… Isn’t that what we all want? Breakfast was surprisingly decent (!) eggs (a mix perhaps), bacon (looked kinda real), yogurt, gluten-​free muffins* (they ran out of coffee and eggs on my 2^nd morning) I agree with the reviewer Cindy B, its not to be confused with a 5 star hotel, but they get 5 stars for excellent, friendly service, clean, modern facilities. I liked the business center, I could eat my breakfast & print up documents at same time, lol always working…

A nice hotel in Tahlequah. Relatvely new. A great staff, clean, comfortable room and reasonably priced. Excellent breakfast choices from egss, bacon, yogurt, cereal, fruit, etc. Nice pool and fitness room has treadmill, elliptical machine, free weights and recumbent bike.

This was an excellent hotel. Please note that my 5 stars is not saying it’s equal to a 5 star hotel with crazy luxurious amenities. However for what you expect in a Holiday Inn Express, definitely gets 5 stars.
I was traveling during a tropical storm and absolutely needed to make it to my appointment in Tahlequah so you can imagine what my day looked like. Canceled flights, missed flights, connections, etc. 3 of the 4 of my team made it in and we rolled into the hotel at midnight. The front desk had 2 others checking in which made the addition of us three create quite a line. The young lady about to leave for the night, saw us, dropped her bag, grabbed a computer and stayed to check us in. She also did it with a warm welcome and a smile. I can’t tell you how many moments of bad service I had witnessed that day. She was a shining pillar of putting customers first. My boss was with me and he noticed it as well. If they continue to treat guests that way, they’ll be very successful. This is what customer care looks like.
The room was clean and nice. The breakfast was very good. Staff at breakfast was also very nice and the area was very clean.
We were only there for about 8 total hours, but it was a perfect stay. My stay was 6÷15÷15, the lady working the front desk should be given a great thank you for a job well done.

I haven’t had much experience staying at a Holiday Inn Express but I am now a big fan. This one is brand new, very clean and very comfortable. The people here are extraordinary… a smile and a greeting every time a staff member walks by. The rooms are well thought out, comfortable and clean. They have a terrific breakfast, very nice flat screen TVs (Samsung) in the rooms and ample free parking. I would like to give a shout out to Teresa, Dawn, Kate and Kayle (sp?) for their professionalism and for making our stay a pleasure.
