My mom has gone to Dr. Winters for years and they’ve always treated her so well. She’s 96 now and they still take amazing care of her. When we moved to Tacoma and needed a dentist we also decided to go to him. His prices are fair, lower than some of the dentists and he’s always been friendly and warm. His office manager, Peggy, goes above and beyond with insurance companies. My husband needed a partial and the insurance company first approved it, then after the work was done said no. She didn’t take no for an answer and called and kept on them until they paid the benefit. Needless to say you want someone like that on your side given that dental work is very expensive.

I’m very satisfied with this place, as they did a lot of things right. I used to go here when I was younger and still living with my parents — I stopped going due to braces, moving, etc. and returned recently after seven years! Everyone still remembered me and were very enthusiastic and friendly. Dr. Winters especially is very friendly and cares about his patients. I had a lot of tartar build up, and the woman who worked on me did a great job of getting rid of it all and really cleaning my teeth. I had visited a different dentist a year before and apparently she hadn’t done anything to help me. The woman at Dr. Winters’ office(too bad I can’t remember her name…) used all kinds of tools to get the job done and spent a good half hour on me at least. It was slightly painful but she was thorough and very careful. I also had a cavity which Dr. Winters had to fill — he was very patient and comforting and even offered me laughing gas free of charge(not sure if that is standard at dentist offices). The filling only took about 10 minutes total, and I was out of there quickly. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Winters if you need dental care, especially if you are interested in having a great, long-term family dentist.
