Soooooo… slow and very low tech POS. beside there is a lot of expires of dry products on the shelf does not meet Health Dept ’ spec . The owner(the skinner, short. older nam in uniform) did not care when I noted that issue to him(the way he answer me like his customer don’t have any knowledge about the life-shelf of products)

The fruit, veggies, and meat really isn’t the thing that won me over. In their non-cold sections you can find candy that is SOOOOOOO worth the buy that you’ll NEVER want to buy candy anywhere else again. TONS of little individually wrapped candies, for just a couple of dollars. I had once bought a package of candy made with tangerine peal powder and had tons of vitamin C, FIBER, even PROTIEN. Amazing, healthy(as healthy as candy can get), delicious, CHEAP candy. :)

It’s a little bit more expensive than Seattle, but if you live in the south end, that’s pretty much your only choice. Clean, organized, not too stinky.

I live relatively close to this place. One day, needing to pick up some produce, I decided to head here and check it out for once. Imagining a grocery mart with a lot of fruits and veggies to choose from, I walk in, and immediately notice, «OH! It’s an Asian market!» I was quite pleased to discover this. Lots of Asian fruits and veggies, and not a terrible meat and seafood selection, for reasonable prices. The typical Asian goods– rice, condiments(Soy sauce, sesame oil, Sriracha, fish sauce, hoisin, etc.), treats, snacks, drinks, canned goods, dried mushrooms. I have went through this store thoroughly, and am quite pleased to announce that they have a nice little section of Hispanic foods, as well a a nice nod to some European(Mainly East Euro) and Middle Eastern foods! A small house section– cleaners and whatnot– and an aisle of housewares, such as plates/bowls/etc. also are available. It would get 5 stars if it didn’t remind me of the old Boo Han market– a bit outdated and not sparkling like the new Paldo World. But, it’s an awesome place to check out, and I love to shop there regularly. Prices are good, decent selection, and it’s local! Note– an emphasis on Southeast Asian foods and ingredients, with a few different regions thrown in that are popular(I get kimchee here if I need it ASAP, I prefer getting it at Paldo) You’re going to find more of the Korean/Japanese goods at Paldo World.
