Visiting Angels

We had an account with this specific business for more than a year. The idea was to get much needed help for my Mother who lived in Kent, WA.
The first «Caregiver» seemed competent and caring. She lasted about a year then we got a couple more who did nothing more than show up and call in from my Mom’s phone when they arrived and when they left. They were there for an hour and finally I upped them to two hours before shutting them down.
The call in and out is so they can be paid. I asked for the carpets to be vacuumed, garbage taken out, refrigerator to have expired food tossed, etc. None of this was ever done. My Mother suffers from Dementia. She dropped a bowl of cereal in the kitchen the day after I visited, The next day I arrived and it was still there now hardened (milk-​cereal) on my Mothers floor. The «Caregiver» had arrived and stepped over the cereal to sign in and out of their 3 ring binder without touching it!
The final week my Wife stayed overnight and watched the employee of Visiting Angles Tacoma call in, sit & play with her phone for two hours and call out before she left.
I am not sure what may have been picked up and taken out of my Mom’s house during this time but over $ 200.00 in cash was missing from her dresser when we were finished.
I had a meeting with an Owner and another woman and we still sadly saw no improvement.
I would not recommend this specific business to ANYONE.
