The thunderbird is cool spot to hang out with group of friends. Its more of ur older style bar. Looks like they are remodeling to make in more new. Lots of dart boards and karaōke every night. Drinks r poured like I would like them also

I’m still praying I don’t get food poisoning. The food tasted like dog food and the service was not all that great. When we first walked in almost all the tables had peoples left over plates and food on them. Service was extremely slow. Not a good experience at all. First time coming in, and certainly the last.

Fun bar! Everyone seem to have a great time. If I was a smoker, I would have given a higher rating. The place is really smoky. Pool and darts are available.

Nice place to go and get a decent bite. Warning it will take a while to get your food they are extremely slow here. The prices are ok and portions are decent. If you decide to come eat here just come hungry not starving.

Never going back again. I ordered a thunder bird omelet. After eating it I became very I’ll. Food poisoning set on quick and with a vengeance. I believe it was the eggs in the omelet that were The cause. Weather it was left out. Or there fridges are not at the correct temperature. These are things a good restaurant should have in check. For this they get 1 star(I would give zero if possible) And my warning going out to everyone. Be careful. This is not the first time I have ate here. But definitely is the last.

I’ve frequented the thunderbird lounge for the past couple of years and couldn’t have recommended it more. I really don’t know what happened, I can no longer in good conscious recommend that anyone come here. The wait for your food is extremely long over 30 minutes and it’s not worth it, portions have been cut in half while prices remain the same. You can not get a drink refilled for your entire visit. Visit if you want to wait an extremely long time for extremely mediocre food and extremely mediocre service.

We were invited here by some great folks we met at another cigar bar. We came out for a cigar event. We arrived to find the perfect joint. A huge selection of cigars with more then reasonable prices. We ended up hanging out for 3 hours and got to know several regulars as well as some great staff. We will return often while in the area.

Great bar if you are a smoker! If you are not a smoker… you will smell like one by the time you leave. I have never been a smoker accept for the nights spent hanging out inside the Thunderbird… where I second hand smoke a few packs each visit. The staff is friendly… the drinks are good… the food is fair. TIP: order a few drinks then order food… it will taste much better. As other reviews have mentioned the karaōke is really great and happens nightly. Definitely a dive bar but the crowd is usually friendly and welcoming to new comers. I am sure it is probably a fairly dirty place but you really cant tell with all the smoke and dim lighting.

Dive… Hole in the… Its in the middle of BFE and its probably just filled with regulars that live in the area. If your in the area and thats all there is or if your looking to one and done it then yeah. Otherwise, stay in the car and say no because there are alot better places out there.

The Thunderbird has to be one of favorite karaōke places to go. The selection is very good, you can use your own discs if you have them, the sound is top notch, the hosts are fun & keep everyone fair. Rotations can get long at times, however the quality of singers are above average most nights which makes it nice to sit back & listen to others while waiting. The bar pours good drinks and prices compare to most. The bar serves a wide range of freshly prepared food every night until midnight. Staff is very attentive most nights, there are the occasional busy nights where they seem to be understaffed. I have been to many places & I would highly recommend this one. Only drawback for me is the smoke as it is still a smoking bar other than that never really anything bad to say!

The Thunderbird is the kind of place you only find out about through word of mouth or because you live down the street. I’m pretty sure it qualifies as a dive bar. I found out about this place through a karaōke buddy who told me that the KJ, Lonnie, would record my song and email it to me! I had to check this out. Lo and behold, I told the host who had sent me and asked that he record my song. I saw that he did, but I never received the email with the song(bummer, maybe it got lost somehow). They have karaōke here every night of the week, though I have only been there in the beginning of the week. Pretty sparse crowd, but the regulars welcomed me into their group and duets and it was pretty fun. Some seriously good singers come here, I almost felt like I was at a show. This bar was on the edge of being too sketchy for me, but I kept going back anyway. Maybe you’d have more luck with your recording!

I am not gonna bash this place too much, because they have been open for years and someone must like them — just not me. Not my style, not one bit. I ate here and was not impressed, but they serve beer, so I drank some.
