I had a conference near this subway. I liked it. The workers were very nice, fast service, and mostly clean(except one bathroom stall in the ladies restroom, and need to restock the bathroom supplies).

My Boyfriend and I showed up to this location and right away the employee was saying she could not help us right away because she has to clean the dining room before the next person shows up for their shift, or she will be fired. The next person was not going to be there for an hour and half. We both were shocked by what she said and she got upset and started helping us. As she was making the footlong tuna and the footlong meatball, she said she only had one knife thou I clearly saw two other knifes at the end of the bar. She was pressing the tuna fish on the bread with a knife that has marinara sauce on it. After that she grabbed the cheese and put cheese on both sandwiches slower than a snail. It was pretty frustrating watching her work so slow. I asked her to put extra pickles on the sandwich and she told me that any more than 5 pickles would cost more. I said that was fine but I am not sure why other stores do not charge for that. About 15 minutes later she is finally done with one of the sandwiches and works on the other. After they are both done, she cuts both the sandwiches with the same knife, now putting tuna on the meatball sandwich. I could not believe someone could work that slow and care so less for the quality she was providing. Not going back at all!

Awesome service! Went there with a friend after a concert in the middle of the night. An employee named Demitria(spelling?) was very helpful and accommodating. She even cut my sandwich into 3 pieces per my request. Btw it was one of the best sweet onion chicken teriyaki sandwiches i’ve ever had! And when i noticed there were no chocolate chip cookies available at the time she offered to bake some for me! Thank you Demitria!

This place is hit and miss… they are very stingy with toppings and the tomatoes are sliced very slim. The workers are sooooo slow and get ready for a wait if there is a line.

There really is good and bad to this location. The Pros: 1. Very nice staff 2. OPEN24HOURS!!! 3. Awesome open window set up and views 4. Lots of parking 5. Clean, it’s new, so I wouldn’t expect anything less. The Cons: 1. Although, this place has a pretty cool view, it is not the easiest to get to. 2. It’s easy to miss, unless you’re looking for it. 3. Their website says that it’s located in Freight house square, but it’s NOT! It’s located right next to the La Quinta Inn right off of Portland Ave. 4. They REALLY need to have more experienced workers working here, one sandwich that I go was a flop, and another was good, so they don’t really have constancy yet. 5. Where are the pictures of the cheese/toppings/dressings? Having those pictures helps the kids mostly, but it does help the adults too, so that they don’t sit there looking at all the bins, saying«um, how about this, and that». Other locations have them for a reason… They are new, and they do have a green waving man blowup looking thing, but from the freeway you just see a green waving man blowup looking thing, they really need to have a big hot air balloon with the subway logo, something that really SHOWS what it is! This is a pretty cool location, but as a local, I barley know it’s there. They need to have some good Grand opening specials, and they need to get flyers in the mail to let people know that they are there! I just don’t feel like they are really getting themselves out there. I really want this place to stick around.
