was concerned for a second that the place wasn’t open, but it turns out the tap room is off to the side and a bit behind the bike store that uses the space during the day. quirky and fun! and dog friendly. there’s a ping pong table where you’ll find the bar tender, at least until you walk back to the counter. the selection is what you’d expect from a craft space, 8 beers or so at $ 5 a pour. everything i’ve tasted so far has been delish, and the people in here are quite friendly. everything i want from a small craft brewery!

It’s always a good sign when you step into a place and immediately smell beer brewing. I thoroughly enjoyed this place, although we did stop in as they were closing. The owner let us try a couple beers: Lemon Peeler and the Pale, which were both awesome. But their list of beers gets a plus because they also have a couple 8% boozy ports as well. The brewery also doubles as what seemed like a skate/vintage repair bike shop? Not sure what was going on with that since I’m not knowledgeable in that area, but they had awesome open thrifty seating with an open sign. **PS. located next to Half Pint Pizza :)

Another newer brewery that has opened up in Tacoma recently! This one is very close to our house and is an easy walk to get to. The brewery is part of a bicycle and skateboarding store which is very cool and ups the ante on quirkiness! The guys that work both the shop and the brewery are very cool and the taproom is very cozy! I have been here twice now and have had delicious porters, IPA’s and pale ales! They have guest taps as well. The place is laid back and relaxing and a very fun place to hang out!

Great service and killer beer!!! Sluggo is a small operation that takes the time to showcase it’s customer service and passion for brewing. The CDA is killer and try the dark abbey!!!

This brewery has been open all summer, but I only just discovered it. Calvin, the owner is extremely personable, open and friendly. Had ‘lemon peeler session IPA’. I really liked it(so maybe it isn’t really an IPA) This will become my favorite 6th Ave pub!
